I have had a question in my heart for some time. I have two daughters so I would be very heartbroken if my daughter seems to be more filial to the queen than myself... I do understand the queen was very kind to the main female lead, but I don't understand why she trapped herself in the palace with the queen when she could be with her family. Her real mother softened up over the years as she also learned how to be a better mother - and I felt that the female lead could see and realize the love, though very tough. Can someone kindly enlighten me, if I missed any points?

The show has been interesting for me from beginning of the end but I do agree with you in the sense where I do wish there were more romantic scenes of the leads!

Ahhhh just finished ep 38, I'm so glad I didn't read the synopsis, watch trailers, and see the cast with their character names. I was surprised all the way through to ep 38. Looking forward to Part 2 and heading over to that page now. I do wish all the parts were just together in one page.

I wonder if Esther's real-life personality is like this also. She makes her character seem so believable. As if it is really her, and she's not really acting, if you know what I mean. I'm not saying she has Oscar-note-worthy acting since this is a xianxia and a cdrama, I don't expect that, but it is really so natural like she's in her own skin type of natural. I don't follow this actress so just curious to hear other's thoughts.
