Her actions are not excusable and I don't like that she uses Orchid's name everywhere for her personal benefit... but towards the end of ep 16, she is getting better. Hope she appreciates and treats Orchid better from now on.

haha yea, I definitely to put aside logic a lot when watching dramas and xianxia is actually my favorite genre. Sometimes I do miss things so I wasn't sure if I missed some clues that other watchers may have caught from before. hehe.
Watching episode 16 and... I love how DFCQ is starting to recover his feelings without himself even knowing, little by little. I guess it's the power of love from Orchid, that she is starting to realize she has feelings for him, and it's melting his core. But he doesn't know it yet, so he feels jealous of Lord CH still.
I'm not really liking that "friend" of Orchid. She just seems to cause trouble for Orchid all the time and she doesn't seem to treasure Orchid and Orchid just listens to her obediently. Am I missing something about their "friendship"? To be honest, I wouldn't want a friend like that in my life. ^^;;
It's probably one of those characters that will contribute something impactful later down the line though.
Some questions: Now why does that little butterfly survive whenever DFCQ hellfire hits her? It doesn't make sense... But her master is all injured and she isn't.
Where did this evil god suddenly come from? Did I miss something? And why is that evil god in the Xishan place? Isn't the Xishan place sacred and they were neutral before they were apparently annhilated?
Another question, why is God of War so weak? He lost so much power and looks so weak fighting against DFCQ. Heavenly realm just seems weak overall. ^^;;
I wonder if I'm the only one that feels that way.

I'm surprised to see the king and queen, such powerful figures, become the biggest support for the FL and ML, totally spoiling them. FL has total access to the palace also! This can only happen dramaland! But it's a bit scary that there can be so many hidden enemies and jealous people. I don't think I can ever live in the Imperial Palance and survive...

This drama is good. I rate it a 9/10 so far. If you like xianxia, you'll mostly like this! I started watching this without checking any trailers, previews, or reading spoilers, and it's been a fun adventure until ep 28. So far, I am loving almost all the characters and don't find any of them annoying (except the bad guys)
I've watched and love the classics like Eternal Love, Ashes of Love, etc. and I still get surprised and excited for where the story goes with IS. Most xianxias share similar troupes, but that doesn't turn me away, since I looove xianxias, and Cheng Yi and Yang Zi are wonderful at portraying their characters!
