I tried skimming through a few episodes without subs, and I don't recommend that, because I got lost! >.< This drama requires following the conversations to really understand what is going on. I want to savor every important scene and moment so I don't want to rush through the ending. I also like to discuss the little moments and interesting details here in this comment section with you all!
Hi everyone, I’ve put together a FMV for this drama after binge-watching the last 8 episodes yesterday. This…
I will watch this after I catch up to ep 33 - 40! Unfortunately work is so busy, so I don't know when I can finish the episodes. But I do know your videos are worth watching. So awesome to have such a talented video creator as a fellow fan of ADOS! Excited for more people to be able to appreciate this drama through your creations!
Ep 31 and 32 were interesting and good and some scenes brought me to tears. I guess I cry easily if someone is crying. What a surprising turn of events. Not what I expected but I like that I can’t predict what will happen!
I like how you compared their issues to NYC apartments; yeah those things are beyond pricey and why ppl have been…
I personally know so many people who moved out of NYC. Some of them were sad to leave and some of them very glad and relieved to leave. I love the themes and lessons of this drama so far. Just can’t wait to see our leads back onscreen together and lovey dovey again.
I can't trust Shen Ru Zhuo because I'm also watching Heroes and he's a bad guy there.
Haha I did see comments about that actor playing bad roles mostly. I was hoping that YZ found the right person but he’s been suspicious looking since he appeared onscreen.
After watching ep 29,30, and having some time to think about what the characters went through in those episodes, I felt the sorrow of Pan Er and YinZhang more. In those times, there were no phones and communication between people had to be done mostly in person. Pan Er’s scene by the well depicted a woman’s dignity being loss and recovered within herself after bearing through such embarrassment and abandonment (she thought she was abandoned by Qian Fan since there was no word from him or Chen Lian, who used to always be available to pass messages). The sword dance was hauntingly beautiful and sad. it all makes sense why she must feel the way she does and her emotions and performance really moved my heart.
She carried the burden to take responsibility for not being able to purchase the restaurant and wants to find a resolution. This somehow resonates and reminds me of how people try to survive in expensive modern cities like New York City where a studio room without a bedroom could cost $4000 USD to rent. A small 600 Sq ft 1 bedroom apt could cost $1 million to buy. Pan Er was living in an expensive and prosperous city like that. Seeing the scene of her and Sunniang deciding to go back to their hometown really was so real. I think many people can relate to those complex feelings, of trying their best to strive for their dreams only to face setback after setback. Her character is so strong and I’m totally rooting for her and the girls!
It was refreshing to see Hao Hao finally tell Yin Zhang the truth about the Shen guy. (Im upset at how Chiwouldn’t let Hao Hao show care for a fellow woman in the same field.) I’m glad Yin Zhang was able to turn things around and get rid of Shen!! It’s time for her to stand firm on her own and not rely on a man. I am happy with how things are going to change for her! I am excited to see ep 31 soon!
The last scene at the canal was getting tense! Finally Chi met another bully so he can get a taste of his own medicine. I really don’t like it when someone abuses their power to mistreat others, the way Chi has been making things hard for Pan Er. I do hope and look forward to see his character development along with Yin Zhang!
Can't wait to see ep 29-30 after work tonight. Sneaking into this comment page at work breaks just to follow along the discussions. Trying to avoid spoilers though >.<
I found it so accurate! 😂
