You’re so lucky!

Yea I am not a fan of behavior like that where just because you are difficult, you recklessly treat the person who cares for you. It seems like every drama has such a character or such a behavior that shows up. Her character up to this point was pretty likeable as I feel like she grew a lot through her time spent with paner and sunniang. They really treated her as an equal and even granted her ownership! Hopefully she feels bad and redeems herself soon! I trust the director will turn everything around!

I miss the main leads interactions so much - what happened to the wonderful communication between the leads that we had in all the previous episodes? They had so much screentime together and now it felt like a drought. Haha, I guess we were way too spoiled in all the previous episodes. But director, why? I know every drama has that moment that unexpected events caused unexpected miscommunication or lack of communication in this case (since they are both so busy). But, I miss our leads being together, interacting with each other .. Please come back together on the same screen soon! (I'm not watching previews so I don't know what to expect next)

On another note, Ouyang is truly such a liar! He victim-plays even in front of his master. Aiyah... I liked the master's speech to Ouyang though. He speaks really inspriing words.

Chen Lian being heart broken was so sad. He is a pretty good actor. Hope Zhaodi can appreciate him and that they can get together.

Sunniang is so caring (motherly / wifely) with Du... it's actually so cute. Du, the way he got so shy asking her to help him pick clothes, ahhh, it was so funny... It reminded me of the scene where ChenXiao also got all shy with Paner, but Chen Xiao looks so attractive when he does it.. Du is so adorable and funny when he does it...

Oh that's true, I did not realize that. I thought it was mainly in WRTW. Hehe, she's a lovable actress indeed!

Absolutely - if you like romance, friendship, slice of life (Song Dynasty style), comfortable paced dramas. This doesn't have too much fighting and is not heavily politics focused. And if you love a visual feast. :)

I love that ep 25-26 had more of SSN. The fight scene was awesome! (Coming from someone who doesn’t normally watch fight scenes on normal speed)

I really like the following scenes:
-when they were bickering on the boat when they were had barely met. I can sense the start of the ML’s attraction to the FL. It’s also my favorite look of his with the small mustache and messy hair.
-ep 5 boat scene where the ML is clearly attracted to the FL but holding back since the FL is still en route to find her fiancé. This is my absolutely fave scene that I e rewatched so many times
-the first kiss after the proposal is just sooo sweet and it’s so satisfying to see their complete trust in one another

Lusi is just so cute! Her BTS are always fun to watch! I watched her in several dramas as main and support characters and she always played her roles well! She play roles that are cute and naive, and also serious. I'm looking forward to this series!

Maybe it’s just not your cup of tea. How many episodes have you seen so far? I just tried several other dramas that were rated very high on MDL and other platforms, and I trust those dramas are really good, but they were just not my cup of tea, I had to drop them or put them on hold to give them another chance in the future. I normally don’t even rate dramas that I didn’t complete since I know from the start that they’re not my type of drama. Personally, ADOS is one of my favorite historicals now. Hope you can enjoy it too! :)

Yes it’s definitely fun that way! I also avoid spoilers and previews (unless it’s all over Weibo and hard to avoid, like some kiss scene cuts 😂) some others like spoilers though! So I guess everyone has their way of enjoying the drama 😊

Oh I didn’t know that, thanks for sharing that tidbit about the director’s direction for the story development! I’ve been loving every moment of this drama despite some annoying and frustrating actions by some characters (which is unavoidable for any drama)

Episode 26 - when I saw that scene of Song Yin Zhang being pampered like a princess at the rich official’s house, I felt quite sad for her. She did not look happy at all. I was even more shocked at how YZ seemingly so easily gave her body away to this man whom she didn’t really take the time to know…. A man that your closest friends didn’t even meet formally yet..

I felt how true it is that all the money and wealth in the world can’t buy true happiness.
