Yea me too! I didn't know tea art existed before and how exquisite it can be. I was searching yelp.com to find a nice authentic Chinese tea shop near me but most of the tea shops are just boba tea shops full of sugary drinks. (I do like some of those drinks, but I want the real deal) So sad!

Ahaha, I know what you mean. I absolutely loved the drama because of the main leads and I also liked the character development with the sister, but I really didn't like the villains and the misunderstandings, so I ended up fast-forwarding those scenes. >.<

Awesome, I don’t expect Oscar level acting from cdramas. This drama is not perfect but it's so dreamy and a beauty to watch. Like sipping on a nice cup of coffee or tea, on a beautiful day. I love the comfortable pace and beautiful development of friendship and romance. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Yea, this was my 2nd xianxia drama after Eternal Love, and I fell in love with C xianxia and historicals. I used to think it's way too long for me. Anything ver 20 episodes was fearful to start! Now, for some dramas I wish they had more episodes! What are some of your other favorites so far?

This was such a good drama for me too, that I couldn't get into another drama for well over 1 year but have come to start enjoying other dramas.

Yea! I do agree, I wish editors in general can pay attention to even these small details! But I also know this is just dramaland, and not everything will be perfectly realistic. I do think the whole team did put a lot of effort into the exquisite costumes, amazing scenery and set designs, good casting, and development of each character, and more. Since I'm a hopeless romantic, I've been very satisfied with the romance! :)

Some others viewers also noticed that, so you're not the only one who was wondering why she was holding it that way. But there are explanations online that historically in some dynasty (I forgot which one), the pipa was played the way that Jelly Lin played it, so she is technically not playing it incorrectly. The actress also explained on her weibo that she took pipa playing lessons so she can actually play pipa but I guess the editing of the drama made it a bit obvious sometimes she was not actually playing the song that is played during the drama. It seems pretty common in cdramas where the actor/actress is not actually playing the song played in the drama and it can be pretty obvious. ^^;; But it's not a big deal to me, unless it's a movie/drama all about music. I hope you do enjoy the rest of the drama so far~

I haven’t watched her other dramas before so I can’t speak for her acting elsewhere. But I’d say she is much better than many idol actors I r seen in other dramas and she depicts her character very well here. The male lead’s acting through his eyes is mesmerizing.

To be honest he is kind of like that spoiled princess character you find in other dramas who seems unreasonable and like a bully but ends up being helpful later. That’s how I feel about his character.
