Wow, Iām really enjoying this drama! I never saw any drama with these leads before. I did hear about LYF and the hype around her beauty, but I donāt know the ML. After watching the first 14 episodes, I must agree that LYF is the top beauty in China. The ML was not very attractive initially but his acting is good and his character is really manly, loyal and deep. Wow, I havenāt seen a drama where I didnāt skip and fast forward scenes in a long time. The music, how the scenes are executed, the story development, and the romance intertwined between are sooo good! Iām not looking for Oscar worthy acting when I watch cdramas. this drama so far has natural acting from the leads and everything comes together well! A 9 / 9.5 rating for me so far!
Some of my favorite scenes so far: Episode 5 - where he rides away on the boat and the glances between the leads - I canāt describe that scene, itās just so beautiful
Episode 10: The scene of ML applying ointment on FL face, oblivious to their surroundings
I also love how graceful and elegant the FL is when serving tea. I seriously almost gasped!
The MLās glances at FL are just so perfectly executed. So far there havenāt been any intimate scenes but their attraction towards each other is so evident.
Good drama! I wish there was more romance though. Xiao Yang was one of my fave characters, her quirkiness lit up the screen! Seven is a great actress too! I enjoyed the last episode! The scene at the table towards the end was so hilarious!

Just finished! I skipped most of the battle scenes since Iām more interested in romance. (I know many others may actually like battle scenes but I tend to skip them in almost every drama I watch, haha) Overall enjoyed and recommend the drama!
It was a slow warm up to this drama, but I needed something to watch in between another drama I'm catching in the evenings. But after midway, now, I totally love the main and second couple. They're just so cute!
I believe To Fly with You was filmed a few years back, so she's definitely grown/matured since.
I checked online and it says To Fly With You was filmed in 2021. I think Pearl Eclipse was filmed earlier than To Fly With You. Not 100% sure but that's what was on the To Fly With You drama page somewhere. I really liked her in Pearl Eclipse!

It would have been so nice to watch this while it was airing so that I can at least communicate with fellow watchers! It's so quiet here now. >.<
