I just finished watching ep 16, and I totally enjoyed it also! I’m a tea lover and the female lead is a total boss! I can’t wait for ep 17 because I love the main leads’ interactions the most. To be honest, they don’t even need to say a word but just be in the same room communicating through their eyes and I’ll be happy. :)
With every episode, our leads are more and more mesmerizing
Mark Chao was amazing in his role in Eternal Love! My first xianxia that made the genre one of my favorites. Waiting for another epic xianxia to come out again.
The comic parts are great!! They are all so funny and most parts are purposely exaggerated with in-your-face silliness.…
Oh, fun fact, the actor who plays Ouyang would not have played the villain but he accepted the role because Liu Yifei is the female lead and apparently he is a big fan of hers!

I actually had no idea who his wife was and what she did. But I did all this research during my work breaks to find out l, hahaha! I normally don’t for actors but I was just so curious! it seems he was smitten with her after filming a drama with her, so it went from reel to real. I’m sure their CP fans were ecstatic.

Yes exactly!! It reminded me of one my friends. Sometimes dramaland friendships can be over the top but here, it’s tastefully displayed and the sisterhood is so touching.

It must be only in dramaland… the expectations get raised so high. For real life couples like my own marriage, we mostly have normal everyday interactions, and sometimes I want to make my husband watch a scene to learn, hahaha.
Im amazed with the tea ceremony. I learned something today. I usually enjoys tea more than coffee and seeing how…
I have not watched ep 16 but I look forward to it! I love to drink tea and I have a collection of loose leaf tea at home, but I don't know anything about the "art" of tea. I can't wait to be enlightened more after watching ep 16 later tonight after kiddos go to bed. :)
With every episode, our leads are more and more mesmerizing
His gaze is just soooo captivating. I even started searching for content about him and his actual wife to see if his gaze is like that towards her. They seem to be happily married.
How would it feel to be married to someone who gazes at you like that everyday??? Ahhhh... I think I won't survive!
I never really paid attention to directors but I am totaly a fan of hers after watching A dream of Splendor. The way she captures special moments between the leads is just so mesmerizing and artistic. It makes the viewers appreciate the director and behind the scenes staff so much more!
After eps 15 & 16, Pan'er, San Niang and Yin Zhang continue to impress me - Yin Zhang showing some quick thinking…
Their friendship and characters are just so real and relatable in this drama. I've attempted to watch another female centric drama (modern), but it was written so badly where the friendships seem almost toxic and overbearing. So, I really appreciate this drama as a female. And I like how the male lead also has a strong presence, so it's not only about the girls either. I wonder... what the ratio of male to female viewers are for this drama.
