I'm thankful that overall, that there are so many more people who love it, and that it's just a small minority that dislike it. It's probably the top c drama of 2020, and one of the top xianxia dramas overall. Personally, I had to watch in fast speed some of the angsty parts myself, as my heart was broken to see Si Feng's suffering. I relished the sweet parts, and I'm so glad there was a good amount of sweet moments throughout the story! With the international exposure it is going to get through Viki and WeTV, I'm sure it will gain more fans and exposure! :)

I don't remember seeing this behind the scenes before. Staff are wearing green suits spinning the round platform and there is actually a person hidden under Si Feng's clothes holding his legs! hahaha! So Interesting! Link in spoiler.

I loved Eternal Love too! but I didn't really like Love and Destiny as much as I hoped to ^^; I think YeHua set the bar too high for male God of War characters for me.

Actually, the FL in AOL and LaR are only similar in that they can't understand love at first. Everything else about the story is sooo different. The character development for the FL in LaR is much better (personal opinion) and different than AoL (no hate on the FL of AoL, as I really enjoyed her growth and forgave her shortcomings at the end) LaR's FL passes that naive stage and becomes much stronger and it's very satisfying to see.

Maybe while you are washing the dishes, you will see a part you like and hopefully raise up your score for LaR. ^^

It really does get better and better - especially if you are a fan of xianxia and sweet innocent romance. But perhaps it's not your cup of tea and that's perfectly fine also, as not everyone has the same taste. If you decide to continue, you'll see the FL's character growth. The actors really bring the story to life!

Just curious, do Kdrama trailers usually spoil most of the story in their trailers? I haven't watched a kdrama in years so I don't remember... Maybe the Kviewers don't mind seeing spoilers in their trailers. Personally, it was so exciting for me to watch Love and Redemption and be so surprised by his identity when it was revealed. But if they spoil the identity and wedding, then it won't be a surprise anymore for new viewers. Booo...
