I do want to note that others who enjoyed this drama have mentioned that the drama ended in a way that made sense. So the ending might not be an issue for you and others. But personally,I couldn't take it...
EXACTLY - how can anyone compare a few hours to several months? I didn't even let that one little incident bother me at all. :) Oh yea, Hao Chen is hilarious.
shows how much people taste differs lolThis shows left a very huge impression on me and i'll probably always cherish…
I watched both Scarlet Heart and the Korean adaptation Moon Lovers Scarlet Heart Ryeo. I personally preferred the Chinese version better. I may have had too high expectations for the Korean adaption and was a little disappointed. C-dramas are improving so much. I'd recommend giving them a try if you haven't already! :)
The original version is Scarlet Heart - a Chinese drama. I liked the Chinese version much better personally. (If you can forgive and look past the men's hairstyles. That took me a few episodes to kind of ignore them ^^;;;)
I'm on ep10, but the male lead is seriously creeping me out, but I don't exactly know why. Should I continue to…
I kept going until the end because I enjoyed the ML and FL loving interactions in the beginning - and I was really hoping those interactions would continue to the end. But, I couldn't take all the pain that the ML caused the FL so I had a hard time finishing the drama. I did end up finishing it, and I partially regret it because I was disappointed with how the latter part unfolded. I realized, I don't like tragedy genres without a good ending. I think others don't mind not having a good ending. Overall the acting and everything else is good. But I don't want to rewatch it at all. :(
It gets better towards the middle, also Yang Zi's acting got wayyy better towards the middle. In the beginning…
I agree that Love and Redemption is worth a try! The FL matures and develops in character. I did find her sister pretty annoying in the earlier episodes, but she goes through a big transformation and her own trials (that were relatable to some viewers and considered well acted) I had to just get past that and everything else in the drama was just amazing! Of course, misunderstandings and evil characters are annoying, but they help bring the story together. Hope you enjoy it! Did you end up finishing it?
kinda want to watch this show just for Leo Luo but kinda afraid that I won't like it!!
Leo is great in AoL. Even though he is the 2nd ML, he has enough presence and impact, almost matching the ML - although I personally find the ML more charismatic. I do find Leo too skinny looking on screen (imagine how thin he might be in real life!) But I have to admit his frail looking body matched his character well. His acting was great and he looks great in costume.
I can't stop rewatching Cheng Yi and Crystal Yuan's cute moments in behind the scenes videos! The way they smile at each other and hold each other's hands even when the camera is not rolling. They were just so comfortable around each other during filming! Ahhh, need another drama with them!!! This drama deserves so many more viewers here!
We finally know the real reason why Si Feng had to stop making out with Xuan Ji in episode 52. I never thought…
Ohhh I wonder how these uncut scenes end up circulating on the web! Yea, that was one of those scenes where I wondered what happened! Thanks for sharing!
