I don't like dramas with sad endings also. So I haven't picked up that drama yet also.

Found a video of Cheng Yi from a much older show - I can't understand Chinese - but when he came out in costume, it seems like the girls on the show were like, "so handsome!" Anyone know what show this was?

Wow, the voice actor is amazing! I really loved Ye Hua's voice - it was so masculine and full of passion - matching his character. And when voicing Sifeng, he is able to portray the gentle, grounded and beautiful Si Feng so perfectly!

Ashes of Love and Eternal Love are quite different - and they're both in my top 3 all time favorites - along with another xan xia Love and Redemption, which recently topped my favorites list. You should give that a try! It is similar to Ashes of Love, but in my opinion better :)

Love and Redemption's ML Cheng Yi has great acting all the way through the entire drama. I was stuck and couldn't move on from Eternal Love and nothing really could touch my heart the same until Love and Redemption. You should definitely give it a try! The ML characters are similar in that they only love one woman from the beginning to till the end, and remain faithful 100%. Their love is so beautiful!
