I loved her character development! There is always a reason for her actions and her behavior. By no means she is perfect, but her character makes sense. Crystal did a great job!

There will be bits and pieces of happiness throughout the angst. There will be full reciprocation of love from Xuanji after she gains all her senses, and that is such a beautiful moment. You're not too far from there, or maybe you've already been there! I forgot which episode, but the entire journey is worth it!!

Sadly... my poor heart, I don't think I can take another drama like Goodbye My Princess.... it was just too tragic.

LnR set the bar so high... if you haven't watched Eternal Love (Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms), that was very good. Yehua's love is so deep and faithful, like the lead in LnR. I didn't get into it until after the first 10/11 episodes or so when the leads meet.

For Love and Redemption, you'll need to prepare tissues. Cheng Yi is amazing in carrying out his character Si Feng's emotional scenes and will leave you teary. But there is redemption! Xuan Ji will do everything to make him happy after everything they go through!

Yea, Love and Redemption has more similarities to Ashes of Love with a FL being someone who can't understand love from the start. But the Love and Redemption ML's love and faithfulness is as deep as Yehua in Eternal Love, if not even more!

I like the FL in Love and Redemption more than in Ashes of Love (my personal opinion). Xuan Ji does reveal actions and words that reflect her love for SiFeng despite her weak senses. It's so nice when Xuan Ji finally fully realizes her love for him and defends him. They have some sizzling chemistry in Ep 52. It's also different from Ashes of Love in that there isn't a huge love triangle. The leads here are devoted 100% to each other. (I personally don't like love triangles at all. But I did Loooove Ashes of Love. It's in my top 3 favorite xianxias and holds a special place in my heart! Love and Redemption is my #1 now, Eternal Love #2, Ashes of Love #3,)

I haven't seen any of Crystal Yuan or Cheng Yi's works before this. I was definitely impressed by their acting and their chemistry was sizzling! Cheng Yi's performance is the one of the best I've seen in cdramas. What a promising actor!

Love and Redemption offers enough sweet moments to recover from the angst. So the drama leaves a sweet aftertaste. The ML is just sooo amazing from the beginning until the end! It's totally worth jupming into!

I honestly didn't like the ending of Goodbye my princess. :( Their sweet moments were too short (though they were lovely) and there was too much angst to recover from, in my personal opinion. I wish they had a happy ending.

I think I will give TPoC a chance when my heart is ready. :) I know Cheng Yi can pull off emotional scenes that many actors have trouble pulling off. Cheng Yi seems to be the kind of actor who will deliver his character flawlessly from the beginning to the end.

I just loooove the way Si Feng fights. It looks graceful but doesn't lack power/strength. Cheng Yi is just so perfect for xianxia costumes and fighting scenes!!! I normally don't
like watching fighting scenes and skip them (I'm all for the romance, haha). But I couldn't help but stare at Si Feng's fighting scenes. I was surprised at myself! He is the first that made me not skip the fighting scenes!
