Look, my point still remains. I never said ming wasn't a toxic character. He is a toxic character and what he's doing or did was obviously wrong. The thing is, this is an adaptation of a novel. And it's gonna follow the storyline. If Joe ends up forgiving ming or he redeems himself in the future, who are we to conclude that he shouldn't have done what he seemed fit to do? We act like we've never been toxic or toxic people don't exist or if they do exist, they are a lost case. That's not how it works. At the end of the day, it's Joe's call whether he decides to forgive ming or not. And ofc, what I'm saying doesn't go in the favor of literal psychopaths or criminals who are beyond redemption while ming is not.
