I dont watch a lot of Chinese variety shows, only couple of dating shows. But i have to say, their soundtrack game is strong! Crazy how good they match the mood with right song, and not only the sound but also the lyrics. It makes me as non Chinese speaker understand the mood even better. Is it a common thing? Kudos to the music directors

I just watch the series up to ep 24. 2nd prince give me ptsd. The actress playing Hao jia did great job in portraying the abuse victim state of mind. As a survivor, i could relate to her and understand her thought process. The writer did great job in showcasing domestic violence and how abuse can be in form of physical, emotional, financial and social. Kudos

I thought it was great representative of how he could see the layers of emotions that she tried to cover with brave happy face. I cried so much after the scene. Fl did great acting.. the twitch on her face, the eyes movement. I was touched.

I just starting to watch this show snd already reach midway. What i really like to compliment is the music director.. its amazing how the director manage to match every moment with right ost to give you extra layers of nuance.. superb work for sure. Great production overall.. the only annoying part is the blatant product placement n commercial 😅😅😅

I think yw x ca is also good from family perspective. They both came from incomplete parents. Thus beside having better empathy towards each other, there will also be less pressure to get parents approval. Learning from kdrama, seeems like huge deal and someone coming from divorce family often looked down. Wish them the best.
