Yes! I also like their fighting choreography, e.g., how Wu Zhen was flying and darting about, to avoid the tree branches. The arm positioning was done in a way to display her flowing sleeves. I also love the closeups of their faces so you can see their micro expressions. Also makes it more intimate.

Thanks for this. Can you help explain how Wu Zhen became a full demon? Was she half demon previously because half of her demonic powers had to be used to contain the evil spirit and once the evil spirit was lifted, all of the demon powers made her a full demon? Or was it a translation issue when the subtitles indicated she became a full demon?
Hmmmm….i don’t see it as a grudge. A grudge to me, seems personal. I think He Ru Fei wants to be more powerful (as a general and in the imperial court) so wants to remove his biggest competition and obstacle from obtaining that…power. There may be bad blood between them for other reasons not yet shown in the drama, but I think He Ru Fei targeted Xiao Jue and his family for selfish reasons. Maybe we are just debating semantics at this point.
Yeah but that’s a grudge that Xiao Jue has against He Ru Fei, not vice versa. She was He Ru Fei for most of her life, up to this point, while her brother was in seclusion. So, I can understand why she would be wondering why He Ru Fei is targeting Xiao Jue. I wonder if the translation “do they hold some type of grudge” didn’t convey the true question or meaning of what she said in Chinese, which she had posed earlier…why is He Ru Fei after Xiao Jue.
Maybe we are just debating semantics at this point.
