Episode 3 was the episode that really pulled me further into the story. The pacing feels deliberate, but in a good way, because each scene adds a new piece to the mystery around Seolah and the people connected to her. What I find interesting about this drama is the vibes surrounding it. There is a constant sense of unease, like something is always slightly off, and it keeps you wondering who can actually be trusted. The story doesn't give easy answers, which makes it more engaging.
Park Min Young's portrayal of Seolah also fits the tone of the drama well. She plays the character with a very controlled and quiet presence, which makes Seolah feel even more enigmatic. Instead of showing everything openly, the performance leaves a lot for the viewer to interpret.
I also like the dynamic between the leads. Their interactions feel tense and layered, almost like both of them are trying to read each other while hiding their own thoughts. Episode 3 especially made me more curious about Seolah's past and how everything connects. The drama seems to be slowly revealing its secrets, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds in the next episodes.
I've watched the first two episodes and I think it's off to a strong start. The story feels heavy but engaging. Park Min Young's performance is more restrained, but that seems intentional given the character's trauma. The dynamic between the leads is developing nicely too. So far so good. Who is rating it low??
Exactly... It's the people in the comments projecting for me.
Shut up another retard. Who tf are you bitch? An uneducated uncivilised bitch body shaming others and thinks she did a great job. Shame on you loser. Keep crying you dickriders morons. I hope you go to hell.
Can't believe it's the last episode tomorrow. Really loving it a lot. Who is still rating it so low??? Come on, it deseves at least 8.4. I really love the chemistry between the three leads. Wondering how they will wrap it up.
Park Min Young is finished, this drama flopped and she's too old for romantic dramas anymore
Flopped???how??? Stop spreading your stupidity. And PMY is already filming a mystery romance drama and I am sure she will do some more romamtic dramas. Please go and touch some grass outside!!
FWIW, the domestic broadcast ratings hit a seasonal high of 1.77% with the most recent episodes (7&8).https://news.mydramalist.com/article/bon-appetit-your-majesty-wraps-up-with-record-high-ratings
So funny of you to compare ratings between a channel with huge number of subscribers to a channel which has almost no subscribers. And tv chosun didn't air any kdramas for a year. Any dramas on that platform would've gotten the similar ratings. If CQ was on a weekday time slot on tvn then it would have easily gained 7 to 10% ratings. That's what knetz are saying too. Tv chosun viewers are mostly senior audiences who watch makjang dramas like extramarital affairs. They aren't interested in other genre. So any dramas would've gotten lower ratings there. CQ is doing quite well on Coupang Play where most of the knetz are watching.
It’s fishy to me considering hw some bad one get good ratings
It's airing on TV Chosun a channel known for political news and trot singing shows and there have been no dramas on that channel for a very long time so most people don't even know that a drama is airing. It's doing quite well on Coupang Play where most of the knetz are watching. And TV Chosun can't be compared to bigger networks like tvn or jtbc. Most knetz are saying that if this drama aired on tvn then it would have gotten 10% ratings at least.
This is getting so interesting. This drama is so good but criminally underrated. It deserves nothing like 7.6 ratings. I think some people have formed a group and are bringing down the ratings. And it's so funny that people are writing negative comments without even watching. What more do they want in a comedy caper drama???? Park Min Young never disappoints. I really love the chemistry between the trio. Next week Park Min Young is transforming into Park Hee Soon's step mother. It's going to be another chaotic episode.
why do they hate a talented lady like park min young? being a non korean, its kinda confusing
They hate her for no reason. The hate is so forced. They have formed a certain perception towards her and they keep on hating her no matter what genre she does.
I am loving all the episodes. It's a crime comedy drama so it's living upto its name. It's so funny and entertaining and the trio is doing a great job. Park Min Young never disappoints and I am really loving her in this new genre. Can't wait for episode 6. It's getting so much fun now.
Who is bringing down the ratings without even watching?? 7.6??? Seriously?? Why are haters so insecure about the ratings of this drama? It should be higher than 8.2 at least. I am totally speechless. Please don't trust MDL ratings at all. It's full of haters trying to bring down the ratings.
I am enjoying the drama a lot. It deserves 8.3 or more at least but MDL haters are really something else. I don't even want to argue with them. They are rating it low without even watching. They kept on complaining that PMY only does office romance but when she is totally nailing her character as a sociopath then also these people have problems. God forbid an actress can't even play a different character!! Haters are sad that their faves didn't get the chance but the casting directors know better whom to cast and PMY is totally eating her character here. The chaotic, mysterious, sociopath. The ending of episode 2 was so good. There must be something very sad behind the happy face of Yirang. Can't wait to watch the next episode. PMY is such a delight to watch and her chemistry with both of her teammates is so amazing.
I really love PMY and it pains me to say this, but she should remove the chin implant. The area around it looks…
She never had those implants. She already said it she only had double eyelids and nose surgery and she said she will never lie about what she had. She lost a lot of weight during MMH and now here she gained back some weight. What a weird thing to say about someone as if the showbiz actresses don't do anything at all.
Oh another new account just for creating hate?? Welcome haters!! And if you don't like a certain genre then why do you feel the need to visit that page? Are you so jobless? Your comment shows you care. People like you love spreading negativity everywhere.
Park should just stick to money laundering. She's underworld. Clearly well connected as she hasn't been cancelled…
What a psychopath. So much hate for what?? I know you hate her so just get lost. She doesn't care about losers like you and just don't spread misinformation. She has never been accused of anything. She already gave a blockbuster hit last year and fyi, she is well loved in Korea too. Haters are really so pathetic here on MDL. She has always been on demand ever since her debut. Of course losers like you will not know. I hope you get sued for defamation. The audacity to spread lies and misinformation wow. I hope PMY will get even more success so that losers like you will cry more. Keep crying loser!
Park min young is one the best in Korea what are u talking about ?
Maybe you need reading comprehension classes aunty. Typical ahjumma behaviour, always worshiping men and downgrading women. Stop worshipping men aunty. You're fighting here for stupid reason. Next time go and make your own dramas. And stop saying it's your opinion in the disguise of hate. Maybe go touch some grass. I don’t need to google anything. I have been watching kdramas for a long time to know everything not like you men worshipping aunties.
Haters always be hating PMY no matter what she does. She has already tried so many genres. These pandemic drama watchers make me sick honestly. If you have so much problems with her then don't watch its that simple. No matter which genre she does, people always try to find flaws in her. WWWSK was her first ever romcom. So what if she chose to do some romcoms after that?? There are so many actors and actresses who always go for the same genre but I have never seen them getting criticism. It's like you people only hate PMY no matter what she does. Please get out of your herd mentality and go touch some grass. PMY is one of the most successful actresses because she always does justice to her characters. She has never had acting controversy but international fans who don't even understand korean diction and enunciation are always hell bent on hating PMY. She has been leading dramas as the first billing for years and all her casting directors and producers have nothing but praises for her. When she did some romcoms then haters said she only does romcoms and now when she is doing 2 different genres back to back, haters still claim that she doesn't suit the role. So much hate for no reason. Wow all your lives must be so miserable to throw unnecessary hate. She is getting casted as first billing and thriving and you guys are just miserable people whose life depends upon hating others to feel better about yourselves. I can't wait to watch my girl slay all these genres and haters please keep on crying.
