. I lasted only 8 episodes.
I love the actress Gianna Jin playing the female lead but this was a tough watch.
I am a fan of grand gestures since I love How I Met Your Mother (I pretend Barney does not exist) but this was taking it too far.

Nice to see a Korean drama fan who appreciates the positives of Japanese dramas.
Too often I see many generalize Japanese dramas as bad.
The understated quality is something that makes Japanese dramas shine.
Yes, there are crazy manga inspired stories but we also get human dramas.

This is a perfect example of why I avoid Chinese dramas:
Great drama ruined by really bad subtitles.
I had to dust off my Chinese I studied years ago to figure out what was going on

I enjoyed this a little too much HAHAHA.

This is such a gem, gives a similar vibe to Meloholic

Some things have to be taken too far for comedic purposes.
To me, you are just being fussy for no reason.
If you want to watch something with characters that have zero flaws then you are in the wrong fandom.
Also, watching something pre- MeToo and expecting it to keep to the same standards is simply nitpicking.

Have you tried Inspiring Generation? I watched it a long time ago. I enjoyed the action and I am also not very hard on rookie actresses.

I dont get why people keep saying the female leads are too strong.
They cried a lot.
I think people are simply used to faux-strong female leads. Watching so-called strong female leads in other dramas who are really weak was usually disappointing.

I also like how love isn't destiny but a choice or rather manipulating the other person to fall into your lap lol.
It was very funny, so I do not get the lack of comedy thrown against it.
It was a breath of fresh air to have a male lead who wasn't filthy rich or win the lottery and proceed to use money to solve all his problems.

This was misleading. I enjoyed his relationship with Shibauchi the most.
A Power Ranger and Kamen Rider in the same drama.
That was nice
