Go back to China and leave Tim, your son who did all of this to slave away your debts, again. The person who just wanted his parents to live a good life in the house that meant family to him.
Yan Zhang was so hot when he beat up that evil butcher. ZLH is perfect cast for this kind of role. I loved the fact that his men already called Chengyu "Marchioness" hehehehehe 😆🤭
I feel bad for Vier, but Fort looks so pretty when he cries! The silent tears rolling down his cheek, the hurt/broken look in his eyes. I already liked it during LITA and I love it here too. Even if he looked absolutely traumatised, he still looks beautiful.The actor you are, Fort!
one thing I hate about this is that they don't tell us the timeline, they expect you to know cause of the novel…
The scene where Phoon tells them about his past is the same as in the novel, he says "it's my story" and then it cuts to afterwards, but it's heavily implied in both the series and novel, that he told them everything, or North wouldn't have asked about Fun like he did. At least that's how I understood it. But I agree with you that they could have made the timeline a bit clearer. Even in season one the timeline was a bit confusing.

Oh, I know that! ;) And that's the thing, he played his role so well/he was so well written, that even though he was one of the worst people in the drama you still feel pity for him at the end. For me that is a sign of a very well written/casted villain: when they make you feel something different besides hate for their character but when you see the world isn't always only black and white. Though Marquis Pingjin for sure was very drak grey.
Omg Marquis Pingjin is such a well written character/villain that even I felt sad for him when Zang Hai told him he just got close to him for revenge. All in all this show is very well written. Absolutely love it, it's a 10/10.
