Omg that scene with the Sectmaster and Meng Chu (is he a descended of Meng Chengqin??) where he tells him to go get the girl, because they were never against it from the beginning, they just needed a reason to get BJS to the mortal world was absolute gold the look on MC face and the master raving about how the girl is talented and hot and can't do anything against which clan she is born in. 🤣🤣🤣 Love it! Also I love Ling'er and HRY working together, girls helping girls is always the best!

On another note BL and JZ acting in the scene where he seals her powers was sooo top notch. So amazing!!!! What a joy to be able to see such talented actors! How BL showed us HRY agony and pain while JZ made it clear how conflicted, burdened and painful BJS felt doing it. They gave it their all. I'm in absolute awe!

Watching ep 15 right now, catching up. What irks me in this episode is that BJS and the heavenly emissary didn't even try to talk to her (maybe they do later on, I'm just 20 mins in) the first thing the emissary did is go talk to the husband. Like she is doing something you don't like, instead of going and making secret deals with her husband, maybe try and talk to the woman??? I get it, BJS has already tried to talk to her, but maybe talking it out with her, the emissary or the empyrean (these highly beings are always bad news ugh) and the dumb dragon could help. But of course mortals are just like fallen leaves to you and don't matter... but after all they matter so much to you that you don't want anyone "disrupting" their lives, like, maybe they are kinda important if you care so much???

I just saw somewhere that someone from the production crew said that this series will have about 10 plot twists! I think we haven't even seen the whole tip of the ice berg yet and there is even more to come! This is making me nervous and excited. Let's be prepared to have our minds blown!

Yea, I get what you mean. In other xianxia dramas they do end up together because some God wrote their fates/destiny for the mortals they will be, so they will definitely meet (for example in Love You seven Times, though they also retained their memories in some lifes) Love between Fairy and Devil isn't really comparable as they went into the mortal world for a whole bunch of other reasons and they left soon after. Starting over and living the hard life of a human is what I understood a tribulation in the mortal world is all about. But BJS and HRY are just living there without actually being mortals. Another example would be Ashes of Love where all of them lost their memories and powers and had a very tragic human life.

Isn't a tribulation in the mortal realm supposed to be done without memories and without powers? I think they are doing it wrong. I don't feel like Bai Jiu Si is going through much tribulations. His shops are going well, he seems to be a referred person in his community. Everything is going well for him. On the other side there Hua Ru Yue, she could also go through life like her husband with no worries but her tribulation is that she has a big feeling of responsibility for the people that are living around her. She has it all and wants to give it back to them, help them have a good life and save them from meaningless deaths and suffering. I think that is why in most xianxia dramas they take away memories and powers so that the immortals live through the hardships that a mortal life brings. Though I guess Bai Jiu Sis tribulation isn't living the hard life of a mortal but rather that his wife is breaking the heavenly rules, which he wants to uphold, while at the same time loving her so much that he wants to protect her from harm... what a difficult situation they find themselves in. But atp I am on HRY side. Like I am a mortal and I agree that these gods have all the powers but do nothing. She is fighting for us. While BJS is seeing the "greater good" or the "bigger picture", meaning protecting the world from demons who would make life even more hard.

I don't think Jun planned on falling for Sorn and he didn't know all the rules to this game. And Sorn obviously had some kind of feelings for Jun since the beginning, he shows he care for him, more than an average "Phi", more than the usual PhiNong relationship. Jun did know they were fwb but you can't controll who you fall in love with. Jun didn't know there was something so serious holding Sorn back from wanting a relationship. But Sorn knew. The Sorn that is sending so many mixed signals to Jun that Jun started to feel more. Sorn that is an adult, he should know that you can't control feelings like falling in love. And he should also know not to start something with someone you care about if you can't give them what they want. Sorn knows his own circumstances better than Jun could have ever known them. If Sorn wanted someone at least his age or older then he should also look for fuck buddies in that age range and stay away from Jun. That would be the sensible thing to do if he had any feeling of responsibility. Sorn wanted the hot young ass all while knowing he would never want to commit to it. So shame on him not Jun.

The bathroom scene in ep 8 was one of the best nc scenes in this drama. It felt like more than just f**king. Also now we know where Sorns commitment issues come from: his Ex-girlfriend. What a b**ch. But that doesn't give him the right to hurt Jun. If he didn't want to fall for someone younger he should have never even started something with Juin to begin with. Poor Jun he knew nothing and now his heart is breaking.

It was a cute show. At least it gave me something to watch on Fridays. But that's it, it's neither the worst BL I have watch nor the best. For me it was in the middle, I neither hate nor particularly loved it. It was good for biding my time until something better comes along lol. I hope they give MarkOhm another chance with a better script. Something I really liked though was the dynamic between Captain and Jay. Ep 10 was the best and they absolutely nailed it. Mark and Jimmy are really good actors. In addition to Khaotungs guest role. I just love this guy. I was also kicking my feet in happiness when Sea turned up with his short cameo in ep 11. He is such a sweetie. What I didn't understand until the end is the purpose of Gugg? They did Poon dirty with this insignificant role. They could have just left him out and established ViewMim as a side couple with more screentime from the beginning. That would have been better than what we got from these 3. I understand that he was there as Sants friend and some comedic relief but overall his character served no real purpose... I am interested to see what GMMTV has planned for Poon in the future as right now he is kinda shipless... will they have him act in more straight roles from now on or will he get another bl partner?

I feel the same way. I had to stop watching after ep 5 because I got busy irl and once I picked it up again I couldn't reconnect to the storyline anymore. I also thought the editing was strange. At the beginning I thought I missed something because they suddenly were all lovey lovey without anything really leading up to it. For me their first NC scene happened suddenly and out of the blue without any warning...

I can only imagine that the king told him, that his adoptive dad will be buried in England (maybe sell it off as Thadanais wish or something) and that Khanin can not attend because he has to stay safe in Enmaly. The King can tell and lie to Khanij whatever he wants as Khanin has no real power to find out the truth or question that old manipulater. As for the lack of interest in his biological family, I totally get you. I feel like I would want to get to know my real dad, as he seemed to be a nice person and especially what happened to my mother.... we will see how this pans out, but it feels like a wasted opportunity. As for his "attitude" towards Charan. I totally get that. Charan is currently the only connection to his old life, the life he wants to kinda live again, once everything is settled (at least that's the feeling I get about Khanins future plans). At first he was "bratty" towards Charan because he was basically the one wo destroyed the only life he knew. Now he has an "attitude" because Charan promised to stay with him and protect him but went back on the promise. (tbh if I was Khanin I would have told Charan to just f* off the first time he told Khanin he was leaving, like you kidnap me to some strange country and now you want to leave me behind? Do it and never show up in front of me again) I am using "" because it doesn't feel bratty or like an attitude to me. At first he is rightfully suspicious of a stranger and now he just wants to have something familiar around him, someone he can trust. And Charan is the only one he can trust at the moment, because everyone else is even more a stranger to him. What I don't get in regards to Khanin ans Charan is them suddenly having kind of feelings for each other... The jealous move Khanin did at the dance was way to early in the series. There was no real build up to these already intense romantic feelings they seem to have for each other... 😅
