Title Love in Time
Watching once was enough, I don't think I will come back to it. It was not bad but there were some things that upset me. At first it started out really boring ans at the end there were some things happening (male leads behaviour, chliched villains) that really put me off. The middle part was what saved this drama for me.

Title Love in Time Spoiler
I noticed a lot of the reviews hate the female lead for all the wrong reasons. OMG, how dare she care about her…
I agree with you! I was actually put off by the male lead in the end. At first he was all sweet and trying to woo her but it turned negative in the end. He was overly jealous and interfered in her work even thoigh he promised he wouldn't do it. Yes, President Lang had bad intentions in the end but the way the husband handles everything else was just pure selfishness and jealousy. He never trusted her one bit, instead he almost turned violent on her. She wanted to fulfill her dream and he knew that. He entered the relationship knowing that she had this dream also he knew she had a problem with him swooping in and handling everything for her with his money and connections, which is so condescending. It went against everything she wanted. He also never listened to her side. Be it when they worked together or when they quarreled. Also he bullied her when they were in school, of course she would be careful with him. And don't get me started on the faked amnesia in the end and some other cliches they did *massive eyeroll*

I could repeat what I wrote before, but my sum up: I still like it, because my personal preference is slow paced…
Number 2 is one of the problems I have with this series. They are not equal and that doesn't sit right with me. Solo just accepts it, enjoying how easy it is to live like that, instead of doing something to make them more equal. Though he loves Gui he never thought about encouraging him to become someone who can stand on the same level.

Title Chef Hua Spoiler
I fell in love with Yu Huai, he is perfect! It is a nice feel good series with a little drama here and there.…
What I really liked about it, is that they got married half way through the series. They didn't take the whole drama to fall in love/realise their feelings nor got married in the first few episodes because of some edict/scheme. They fell in love, got married and could then grow togehter as a couple throughout the hardships that other people made them go through. They also never lost trust in each other and communicated. There are sadly not many series like this. I also liked Yu Huais mother, she got quite the temper but is actually a very protective person of the people she loves and also took a liking to her daughter in law really quick, no scheming from her either! Her backstory is actually very tragic which makes her character even more interesting. Refreshing was, that they were "normal" people, not generals, emperors, princes or consorts, just a cook and a bodyguard going through life and trying to make the best of it. There was no dragging the plot either. Combined with all the delicious looking food, it was awesome!! 10/10

Title For Married Doctress Spoiler
I dropped it after a few episodes... the female lead is supposed to be a genius doctor but behaves like a spoiled child and shows no signs of being a genius rather the complete opposite... also the comments about the ending helped me not waste my time on this any longer.

Just like you said that a Mother warming Milk for her child makes it taste better makes it so much clearer that what Solo needs isn't a boyfriend but a Mother... Gui is this for him: his Mother, his Nanny and his Secretary in the end. A Caretaker... I personally would feel very frustrated if a grown ass man would come to me and beg me for warm Milk or go grocery shopping with him with an argument of "I can't do it on my own *teary eyes*". I would run away screaming. Gui is supposed to be his boyfriend, but where is the giving back, the equalness? This is what many of us grown folks think of it. Not how cute or romantic the dependency is they have of each other (Solo being unable to do anything/care and cook for himself, and Gui emotionally and financially later on)

This is awesome! If you want lighthearted and cute you are at the right place! I loved it, I cried and I laughed and felt my heart melting. The only thing I find sad is that it was so short! I hope we can see more korean bls like this (that are a bit longer)

Thanks for giving me insight into your viewpoint! And I have to agree the series itself without the book and with the episodes that aired till now, there isn't much to call problematic (really only khims stalking behaviour at the beginning, but that is being worked on right now I guess) I hope you can enjoy the rest of the story! As for me, even I haven't given up hope for it yet, maybe they will give the series a good twist or show more of Guis and Solos intentions and make it more clear what is going on.

Sometimes I feel frustrated when I read some of your reactions to what are not bad shows at all, Oxygen being…
I never said this is a bad show, it has the potential to be really cute. And I haven't even given it any kind of rating yet, just to be clear. But I have a problem with the dependency this situation with Solo and his father puts Gui in. As someone who saw first handed what it means to leave behind your dreams and "run away" with the person you love and end up in this kind of dependency, I can't support romanticising it. And it doesn't matter if this is "just fanatsy", cause fantasy can become real life real quick. Also a comment is not a bad review and I never hated on the show, I just feel very uncomfortable with how Gui is treated. He doesn't know any better, cause he always had to take care of other people, but that is no excuse to run him over and take away his independency. It's one thing if Solo and Gui had talked about it and decided that this is the way they want to go, but Gui was almost threatened and made to choose to become Solos Secretary by Solos Father. And you said it yourself: Solo is the one with the money! What will happen if Solo one day isn't satisfied with Gui anymore? What if he dies suddenly? What if Solos company goes bankrupt? As Guis sole reason to exist and employer, what should he do then? Who will provide for him then? How will he be able to fend for himself? Would you also be here and be angry at people that don't find this situation romantic if Solo was poor? Also what kind of message is this sending to the younger audience of this show? That the "wifes" place is beneath the husband and taking care of his every whim either as his secretary or at home? That they are not worth being given a manager position even though they have the education to do it? That they should not strife to be a better person for themselves but for someone else that can be gone in a second? What Solo needs are loving parents that are there for him, not Secretary Gui.
