I am not a fan of Dramas with many Flashbacks. They tend to be long, boring and take away much needed screentime from the actual drama/main couple/plot etc. while being mostly fillers. But the Flashbacks in UWMA were perfectly integrated into the flow of the drama. They were placed at the right time, showed what needed to be shown for the plot, were not too long or boring and did not interupt the storyline. I also normally tend to fast forward uninteresting side couples, plotting villains, long stares or fillers. While watching UWMA I only used the fast forward button for the opening song and watched the drama with bated breath and while fangirling over the main couple and their past lifes. The side couple Win/Team was rarely shown which was on one side awesome since the main couple finally got enough screentime to act out their amazing plot, but sad on the other side since I also wanted to know more about their story. What are the chances that they get their own series? Manow and Del were awesome and cute characters and I really liked the friendship between the freshmen overall.
I had high expectations for this drama because I really like News acting. His acting was also great in this and his character was my favorite, but sadly the main characters Apo and Waii were more like support roles instead of the main couple. They had so little scenes together I don't even know when it was they fell in love??? They could have had an intresting and deep storyline if they would have gotten the screentime to act it out... I didn't even ship them because I just didn't feel the chemistry between them. To be honest I wished Pete would turn up to save his man from this trainwreck... ^^"
I loved the set designs of FuYun Hall and Congji Abyss. They were absolutely stunning. Open spaces but at the same time private/secretive and calming. I wish I could live at Congji Abyss too! Also, best lovestory ever! It would be great to have more dramas like that. Chang Chen and Ni Ni were the right cast for the characters they played. One mature and scarred from war, the other innocent and optimistic - plus lots of character growth. I really recommend this drama!
I had high expectations for this but after 4 Episodes I don't get the high praise for the drama... I find the female lead too childish. I get that she is naive, growing up in her circumstances, but one can be naive and still a little mature or smart. It was funny at first but now it's just annoying and because of that I can't enjoy the rest of the drama.

Does it get better, or should I just drop it?
