Their native names or screen name everyone views during their dramas should be used for identity on mdl. Many actors may have an english name but who searches for it? Do we even know it? I had to actually go to some of the actors dramas to even find them. Search Yang Zi for instance and search results are negative. I speak english as a first or native language but have never once tried to find a celebrity online from what is essentially a nickname.
I picked Hotel Del Luna as one of my votes. Man-wol seemed to be a strong female character throughout most of the series. I love her and the story. However, after seeing the whole story I have to question the way most of us see her. Was she a really strong character? OR Was she actually much weaker than most perceive her? For a starter - It took her 1300 years to begin to be a better person or even attempting to be truly understanding. This alone makes me wonder if i should have voted for this series as a SFL. What are your thoughts? Do you think she was strong or not?
It seems strange to see that so far he isnt listed in a lead role after an excellent performance as Feng Bufei. If i remember correctly he also stood out in Queen Dugu.

Love and Destiny is my favorite love story of all time from any genre, category, culture, etc. The series story as a whole was very good and a favorite even though it had some room for improvement. I really liked Ling Xi & Jiu Chen's story and imo there is no better story of love out of any I have personally seen in tv or movies.

Only one character seriously annoyed me in this series because he could have been much more imaginitively written. Imo Jing Xiu could have been made very interesting but he was written very cliche. If they had developed him in a more creative way and made some minor adjustments to other antagonists the story would have moved from excellent and among favorites to best in genre. Perhaps greatest of all time.

If I am really into a series i prefer them to be long. i know some have trouble with very long series so i understand what you are saying :) Cdramas can be like you describe hit or miss lol but they are not alone in this attribute Lol :) 1 quick and somewhat related Example - A person may have 10 thousand channels and still find nothing interesting to watch LOL

Legend of Fu Yao (fantasy/adventure/lite romance)
Love & Destiny (fantasy/action/romance) similar world to eternal love but imo a much superior story in almost every way.
Neither of them is for everyone but i really liked the story, most characters, and acting in both series. They are 2 of my own favorites with general similarities to what you were already trying to watch here.

I struggled through to episodes in the mid 30's before i stopped and havent decided if i will ever finish. At the beginning of the 2nd life i admit it was pleasant but becomes disgusting as it progresses. Imo the main story at middle of 2nd life is disturbing at best. End of 2nd life and early 3rd has much to do with selfish feelings of the male lead and nothing to do with love. My reaction and thought is very negative about this so shouldnt be treated as anything but an opinion.

This is one of my favorite series of all time. As with many cdramas the ending was too brief for my taste but otherwise imo yes it is a good ending and not draggy or boring.
