Hmm is it technically yes or no? Lol She is one of the antagonists and appears throughout the series. In a sense she does eventually get what's coming to her if that helps you feel a little better :)

Imo There is no amount of remorse or anything he could do to make it up, ever. He should have stopped pursuing her especially with her having no memory. That has been adding to my disgust. I continue watching anyway. Im probably in a big minority feeling this way and i apologise. I am not saying that to be antagonistic to you or anyone reading.

Completed Love and Destiny and it is an excellent series.

I'm more than half way through Eternal Love. So far i think the story is somewhat bad but not boring. The acting and production is excellent. It may be worth a watch to many but at the moment imo not the rating it holds.

Some Spoiler beyond this point.

I liked Ye Hua at first but changed my mind. After Su Su i am against his involvement with Bai Qian. Yeah ye hua has her child but he also failed Su Su so horribly. Commenting further will be a lot of spoiler and some ranting. So i will just leave it at that for now. Perhaps my opinions will change upon completing.

I really liked Chang Chen's character Jiu Chen and the outstanding performance.

I have been watching both and so far I prefer Love And Destiny. Although I really love the female leads from both series Yang Mi & Ni Ni. At the moment not very enthusiastic about Eternal Love but i have only seen several episodes.

On episode 11 & so far an excellent series. Ni Ni is an exceptionally skilled actress and has become one of my favorites in the world. At the moment Ling Xi is definitely not as interesting as Feng Zhiwei (Rise of Phoenixes)but NiNi's performance is great. Going to binge the remainder of this series over the next few days.

Tyvm for the recommendation. That was a very entertaining series and is now included among my all-time favorites.

I haven't fully decided but leaning toward Legend of Fu Yao or Once upon a time in Lingjian mountain or maybe the story of minglan. Did you like any of them? What about you? What are you currently watching or plan to see?

Thats a good question :) Why would i waste my time? The episodes i did watch were really bad. I stated up front that i only watched a few episodes. I did give it a few more episodes but didnt change my mind. I rarely drop a series quickly. It was a warning to other people that it may be a waste of their time. Everyone can make up their own mind either way by choosing to go to something a little more promising or finding out for theirselves if they like it. Im sorry that it bothered you.

I agree with you. I dont understand why they are on the page to begin with if they do not like her. Is there a rival somewhere putting some of the people with so much negativity up to this? She is a very good actress in anything i have seen her in.

She is an excellent actress. I watched her performance in "Legend of White Snake" and enjoyed her skill and character. I have added "The Legends 2019" to my plan to watch list because of her. Best wishes to you Xiao Yan. I think you will have an amazing career.

The "no happy ending" thing drives me crazy. So many films and television series have been doing this in recent years. I really like feel good endings and wish they were happening more often than they have been. Rise of phoenixes could easily have gone in that direction but didn't. Even so... this one had my complete attention from the very first episode. I can really understand the love/hate you have for this series but it definitely makes my alltime favorites list. Thanks for sharing your experience :)

In "Rise of Phoenixes" I would not have been shocked if he was mid to late 20s. The way the op reacted i had to laugh and joke a little :o)
