I feel the same. Between being very new and the english title "love and destiny" it has been one of the more challenging dramas to find in the US. The only place i currently know claiming to be streaming it is Viki.

Both make it seem like 43 = long white beard and 20 grandchildren lol :o) He does look younger than 43 on screen.

Why does this actress have so few favorites on mdl? She is Very talented.

He seems to be such a good human being whenever i have seen interviews and so on. Great actor and i enjoy most of his movies. Hope he lives to be 120.

This is easily one of my favorite dramas of all time. It is so good that i want to read the novel and i am not one to read fiction very often. Not to mention i have to learn to read the language first lol :) yeah, it was that good imo. Although, i wish the last maybe 20 episodes didnt feel a little rushed compared to the rest and wish it had been a happy ending. Anyway, the story, acting, and production quality were all top notch. Series gets highest possible recommendation to anyone who has not seen it.

Park Bo Young is extremely talented and very easy to begin to like a lot. She has become one of my favorite actresses in the world. Best wishes to her having an amazing career.

Hmmm... Sorry not many period dramas i can remember or know about with a completely happy ending. "Strong woman do bong soon" has a happy ending but that one is modern and more comic book style with some romance.

I agree. This series didnt seem to have the funding some do but i binge watched it. Good story although a little silly or cheesey sometimes. lol. I want to see more.

I will list a few that are usually considered good. Mr Sunshine (korea), rise of the phoenixes (china/fictional dynasty), Ruyi's royal love in the palace (china), Rookie Historian Goo hae-ryung (korea/still airing), Nothing gold can stay (china). There are many period dramas out there. These are just a couple that quickly came to mind that i enjoyed.

I have only seen her acting in Legend of white snake and thought she gave a very good performance. Also, in my opinion she has goddess-like beauty.

You will see user ratings of content, reviews, and so on. Somewhat like you would see with something like imdb. Rookie historian is running on netflix with or without subtitles with 2 new episodes added each week.

Extremely cute imo I would definitely like to meet someone with a personality like her. Anyway, near the end or at the end of the series i think she was trying to be a superhero and that should count for something as a strong woman. However, i agree there are probably better examples of strong female leads particularly because she didnt fully develope as one until so late.
