Title Remember You Spoiler
Finally done watching this series. First half of the series feels like a drag, Especially when it is blatantly obvious who's Paytai and who's Kong. I could not care less with the cases, they were not compelling enough for me. Feels like they were placed there to pad the story up to 16 episodes.

The story is pretty 'standard'. I was hoping for some twists but everything was predictable as it can be. It's not the usual thriller I want to watch. I guess the whole show was great if you don't care much on the story, but more on the acting and the actors themselves - they are good in portraying the characters.

At some point, I got lost as to whether I am watching a BL or not. The second half of the series (actually the last few episodes) shows more bromance than the actual romance. In fact, the main guy Tanwa looks more sweeter to his brother than to the cop girl lol.

Anan is pretty to look at lol.

I don't get the obsessive nature of Kong. I get his motivation but he quickly become the 'parent' that he hated. He pretty much torment Meena.

When they were solving crimes, it baffles me how Tanwa can just sneak in to any crime scene without any gloves, etc. Actually, not only him, but also the whole team.

I was actually wondering why Tanwa was called in as consultant to the team. Or did he present himself to Wilawan? Tanwa was actively investigating the 'symbol' on these crime scenes (they did not really explain what is the symbol, nor the significance of the painting).

Anyway, I'm gonna watch the Hello Monster and see if it was better,

Title Not Me
does that defeat the purpose of a BL which literally mean 'boys love'?
no, what I mean is you categorize it as 'BL' and yet there's no romance. So I was just asking, it is like saying it is a horror show without any horror, or that it is a comedy without comedy.

Title 46 Days
I only watched this for Nonkul. I really think he is best suited for action drama or heavy drama. Didn't really appreciate him much in rom-com. The rest of the characters were good for rom com. The whole shrieking is just annoying.

It's not bad. The problem was the direction and how the storytelling is presented. It could have been better.

Question is, was "she" really the one who came back from hell? Did they even went to hell?

The "Angel" CGI was horrible. I don't find it scary. I find it hilarious.

Other than that, it was a good storytelling, I wished they had the 2-3 more episodes that make Jin Kyeong-hoon (+daughter) and the kids who went to Canada come back.

I'm not totally satisfied of the baby surviving. It makes no sense at all. The golems right from the beginning has specific targets and would pursue the target no matter what, it does not stop to attack or get rid of people blocking it and start the ceremony.... unless.... there was an issue with TIME, maybe the golems have only a minute or so?

Title Squid Game
It was originally supposed to be a 2 hours movie so 9 hours(8.5 hours to be exact) were actually plenty.
Plenty? Not quite. As I have said, there are so many unexplored storylines. They just throw 100 rocks all at the same time which ended up with stories, if not all of the stories, half-baked, half-told. half-arsed. If it was a 2 hour movie, then they better trim down all the stories, and focus on 1-2 characters. They wont have to have the cop involved. The brother involved. The creepy masked rich folk involved. No side business of selling organs involved. Then it will be great.

Interesting… for me it felt really slow. I agree though. I would have loved to see better characterization,…
how is it slow? lol. there's so much stories to unpack and it feels half-baked and rushed. There's the story on organ trafficking and could have unpack some stories on the foot soldiers and their background, how they get recruited. The whole thing with the masked rich donor trying to have sex with the policeman suggest there's also prostitution, so there's a whole story angle to that. All the rest of the participants could have better background/flashback story just like in Money Heist. Not to mention, we needed a flashback of the old man and front man too.

I'm really hoping to see this show to expand more. An origin story where the first sets of games are played. And how the police shut this operation down. I bet it can even extend to politicians secretly supporting this game, as well as those 'home viewers'.

Are all commenters here 12 or what? Sex is a part of our life. Why is everyone so surprised.
I've watched way too many gore or shows with a lot of love/sex scenes, and this series is actually tame in comparison and actually the scenes are with purpose. So many TV shows out there, specifically American, where the intention is more to lure audience in rather than develop specific character's story.

I recently finished watching Bad Guys and it really annoys the heck out of me when the show is specifically a heavy action drama then they will have blur every after scene. It takes away the atmosphere and moment for me.

I know tho that this show is not going to be a cup of tea for everyone. Well, it's not going to be, since it plays in the same genre as Hostel, Saw, Battle Royale. And I applaud this, because if it was a genuine Korean series, it will be much softer and tamer. I like series that are bold. lol

"But the useless murdering & there's nothing to learn from it except not to trust anyone easily or teamwork in tug of war task. Lol, that things can be taught through some simpler and good concepts too. "

I dont think it is 'unnecessary'. In fact, the sex was essential in providing characterization and the length of what the characters are willing to go for. The violence is also the same. I really despise shows that supposedly talk about violence, but try to not show any violence. Or superhero shows, but refused to show superhero stuff like fighting with their abilities, it just lost the identity of the show. This is why I just can't get into Kdramas with violence or gore, only to blur knife and blood, it just takes away to 'realness' of the show.

I have questions 1. Does the message evidence send to the police?2. Is hwang jun ho really dead?3. Does ali really…
If I recall, the first few videos were sent successfully. Jun Ho only tried to send two of the videos. Ali is my favorite character. :(

I presume that Jun Ho's brother storyline will be a parallel to Gi Hun's coming back to the game. If I recall, his brother won one of the competitions. And I suspect, he went back for an unknown purpose - perhaps, he believed in that the game give hope to the poor or perhaps, similarly to other rich people - he was bored and feel unfulfilled with the money and therefore get to be insider of the game, and instead of spectator (tiger mask folks) or a player (player 001), he chose to be a front man. OR perhaps, Player 001 has a soft heart for him, and gave him the role as a front man...

There is a conversation between Netflix and the writer/director. And S2 will likely focus on police investigation and the front man.

There are several threads in the show that I wanted to explore. Each participant character deserve a good back story just like Money Heist. The foot workers also have their own stories and even the selling of body parts are interesting story to tell in the show.

My Conclusion: 🙂 It is good yet Overrated drama. Because i honestly think there are many other good and more…
The murdering was not totally useless. It all ties in with capitalism (rich vs poor), revenge, desperation, and many other underlying themes of the show. If you didn't get this, you probably didn't the show at all.
