that's the point though, they went extreme overboard to show how new parents are "pressured" to be "perfect", either it's shaming the mom for not producing milk or shaming the dad for not for not buying luxury items and labeling them "bad parents"

for me in real life if the sellers try to "promote" something I was interested in buying by saying things like "everyone buys this" or something, it'd actually make me not want to buy it but some people can't say no and end up buying 10x more than they originally planned

actually koreans love "fetus" names so they make the weirdest nicknames for their babies, like in fated to love you their baby was named dog poo(?) xD

this wasn't the point of whether kids are innocent or not, it's just too much makjang in one place. like even if 1 in believable 15+ different crazy is overboard, this is practically like the drama Trap where they had a secret crazy society that loved hunting people, now that was more believable than a penthouse that chooses only crazies to join

also with the kids, the problem isn't how young they are but how old the actors are compared to the characters' age. ie 22+ year olds are playing 04 liners

and so dosan can see this accepting and supportive person he never had in dalmi and boom "instant" love (kdrama writer's favorite). but there's no love without secrets, angst and misunderstanding, so boom "2ml"
dosan is kinda pure in this, he met this "amazing" open girl and the dream "idol" in one setting so of course he'd now want to keep the lies. he didn't started them, but he wants to keep them.
and then there's dalmi, the girl is looking at dosam with rose tinted glasses, she'd have never seen or given dosan a chance without that "past connection" and Ji Pyung is looking at dosan in black tinted glasses and he keeps degrading him out of jealousy becasue in reality he's just a 2nd lead forced to stay on the side lines. if I look at it in extraordinary you eye's I'd feel bad for him otherwise he's just a tool for the writers to create angst

I think I get the problem here for me, it chose "convince" over logic like that video at the end of ep3 and how both are magically motesolos

so basically the writer wanted Dal Mi and Do San have a past connection (becasue kdrama writers can't writer a newly met/slowly get to know each other type of couple), like how else would dalmi be so open and accepting of dosan? and so they needed a 3rd variable. and that's how the 2nd lead came about, a fairy godmother who created a "magical connection" but he's also the 2nd lead in a love triangle so he kinda looks like he has a personality disorder, he's nice one second and then he's trash talking/stumping on people's dreams the next..

it's like he wrote those letters but the lie was flat, he literally could've said "I was young so I lied", the person is still the same, only the name is different, that's why he's the 2nd lead. while dosan was the unsuspecting third wheel that got forced into a triangle against his will, and honestly, now it's a "mess" so even if both confess, both will be "hated" (more so than if they just confessed from the start) but now dalmi will get to know the sweet and mature dosan while han grew up into a person who can't take charge and she doesn't "know" him as a grownup (while dosan got a glimpse at her as a kid as well) so basically I don't get why people like the 2ml when I always get sls xD

why do people like the 2ml? cuz he's a complete selfish jerk... I've only watched 2eps, I don't need spoilers ;p

"sand box has high standards" well so do I, I expect more of my SLS, in this here the ml is the "nice sls" and the sl is the "jerk main".

ikr! I'm glad people agree (koreans are loving this xD) they have an extremely flavorful taste so everything is done in x10 with their makjangs...

also did you see how she just about forgot her own "child" who was in a coma for 16 years just because the dna said it's not her blood, like she went to her almost every year, she was selfish enough to keep her alive, but now what? she'll cut the money and care as if her heart wasn't connected to the kid ;/

lol I'd wouldn't put it past the writer if that kid wakes up and hears the truth then hunts the mom down too xD

ikr, like the twins thought she was purposely leaving every time their dad hurt them, it's like the story only started when the drama did, like their backstories are just figments of imagination, I mean honestly how did she never once ran into them getting hurt? ;/

yeah like Record of Youth's writer was also Doctor's writer, penthouse writer is actually Temptation of Wife's writer so imagine the makjang xD
