they are just talking with each other and sharing things they don't tell other people, but it's not a cheap shallow connection of "my dad is rich and evil" and "my parents are poor and I need to work" kind of thing usual romcoms have.
they talk about music, about their true feelings and perception of life, I LOVE that!

overall it's like a Chen song, it's relaxing but it makes me tear up (I hope they don't add makjang!)

I think I just got blind sided by this and it became my favorite ongoing!
I still hate the love hexagon but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the slow natural connection between Park Joon Young and Chae Song Ah!
it's the most beautiful type of romance! it's like shy smiles, awkward meetings and stolen glances?

it's the most normal realistic love story I've seen in drama world

agh I want to gush over this more! I love Kim Min Jae's voice! and I love the soft balanced contrast of Park Eun Bin's tone which is a great way to pull of a "calm dark guy/sweet innocent girl" feel.
also I adore her outfits!! they are elegant and everyday casual chic

that's really sad and disgusting, especially if they address it in their dramas, like if they know that problem exists they should do something to expose it! ;(

that creepy guy was atleast 40! and he just goes around chasing after young starving artists?! eww ;/

I'm so sad they are not giving her enough screen time/character depth ;(

are they showing the ugly side of kindustry? he was 21 five years ago!

I actually liked their easy friendship but I can't get over the fan thing, it's like kdrama writers are scared of a relationship without any type of "past connection" ;/

but I'm not surprised, this was done by the Doctors writer ;/

don't they use those words as a way to remember the past/feel nostalgic and reminisce about youth?

yeah that empathize on student makes me think the whole thing is about their uni life like nodame cantabile

I feel like the synopsis needs an upgrade, they are not really "students at a prestigious music school" anymore they all graduated, Chae Song Ah is an intern and the majority of the drama is about her work

I'm on board with 5, 6, 8 and bonus 1 ;D my dream drama pairing is actually woo do hwan and ssoe ye ji. or woo do hwan and kim da mi or woo do hwan and iu ;D

I am not talking about his dream or what he does there, but the way he feels around his friend who is more "advanced" in his dream.

plus the fact that his mom is his friend's housekeeper is obviously there for makjang and tension between the guys, like when Hye Joon finally advances, his friend might be the one who's jealous and ready to sabotage him? that's just the basic story line in dramas like this

I didn't say "bogum" is the problem, I'm saying they didn't focus on the fl compared to both mls + the mls whole families ;)
this is not a good sign of the writers interest in making a solid fl

but alteast we agree on something~

the ml is a total self centered narcissist with a inferiority complex, and unless they make the 2nd guy a total selfish jerk I'm not going to root for the ml.
plus they focused too much on the mls with barely any scenes with the fl, and the moment she's in the picture her colleague randomly hates her and she's being bullied until she cries... how original..

I also don't like that she's his "die hard fan", I will never stand behind fan to lovers, it's too weird, like they are giving the ml too much "worth" compared to the fl

it's sooo slow and so long I don't get why this has 1hour 10min AND 16 eps ;/

my 1st impression of this was actually The Heirs modern vr? it's trying too hard to be the "next youth/teen drama" they just took out the chaebols

I don't like the family stuff, they just feel awkward here, is this a family drama? is this slice of life? is this about youths fighting for their dreams? what is this!
