in some ways we still don't know too much about their past, but in the 1st story they mentioned that he used to follow her around, so they were pretty close. also, I'm not saying it's okay to stalk, but like it'd have been weirder if they didn't know each other which is what the usual ml's are like ;D

for tkem it did supposedly get "num1 on netflix in so and so countries" or something though either way ratings shouldn't matter ;D

I thought I was the only one! and I wondered if I was being biased against her becasue I love moonyoung xD but glad to know there are others ;D

yeah I skipped the flashbacks, ie the scenes they kept repeating over and over and over again ;D

not really, I did watch it all. and using the x2 just made it move in a regular speed instead of the slow useless flashbacks ;D

Ikr. It's only because they are in the same time period and the characters fought for their countries smh.
To me different dreams or even arsenal military academy are more similar than chicago typewriter (I also found CT's characters written more weakly plus their future counterparts ruined the past ones, but whatever :D)

tbh I stopped trusting the ratings ;/ sure some people at 1st thought it was too heavy then too light, but I've been watching it for 3 days now and I'm pleasantly surprised (and I had it as not interested when it was announced xD)

also, eventhough the romances are subtle I find them better written than most of those so called "romcoms"

lol xD I wrote this when I was in the middle of my rewatch then after it ended I got so sad that it was over again so I didn't go back to the review, though I always felt like there was something missing xD

to me each of the other leads had their own ship and though I liked their dynamic with aesin (and would love another drama of them together as mains) I loved this as it was

at 1st I thought she just omma as a reflex, but, watching so many makjangs then I thought, wait did Man Shik's wife have a kid from a previous marriage that he didn't know about, but then she said DAD!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT!
I mean thinking about it I did find Man Shik's son too young to be his first, but I thought they were trying to represent a couple that chose to have a kid late and I admired the representation, BUT WHAT! agh I'm still crying xD HILARIOUS!

also the subtle hints of different romances are so well done, I didn't mind the lack of romance though I did slightly ship the 2 different couples, but the fact that they are sailing makes me so happy. that's how one pulls a great ship~

oh my god!!!!!!!!!!! xD while watching this I thought this drama does a good job by showing hints before their twists so they are not unexpected like the spicy chicken girl and Jung Eun, but that ending of ep18! that's the most shocking unexpected twist ever!!!!!!!!!!!! I never laughed so hard! or cried xD WOW!

also, it's my time to say I don't get people's criticism? not every character needs to be sweet/good/innocent, specially the women. but also they are "childhood friends" and with the story in the 1st ep it seems they were close, so she's not stalking him, they're "reconnecting".
I mean, I've seen my fair share of the cold, jerk, rude, selfish, never takes no for an answer male lead but (not to be that person) no one complained.
also, Moon Kang Tae is not the usual type of "sweet" guys, he's a nice person but he's not a pushover and he is well layered so he balances out the dynamics.

and, they can't mention IU and not give me a cameo! (though she is busy with her own movie so I get it ;D)

I just started this and I LOVE it! it's so refreshingly hilarious and the characters are so well layered!

I didn't skip episodes, though I did use x2 speed them because they were draaaaggggggggyyy ;D

"absence makes the heart grow fonder" I hope he gets alot of great projects when he's out~ all of my 92liner babies are enlisting and it's sad ;(
then there's Jang Dong Yoon, I hope he fills the void until they come back


WDH got his break in 2017 but he was pursuing his dream since 2011 so he was 19 and he also went to college so he must've had a busy time back then

great promise, horrible execution. they were like charlie's angels historical vr (as the butterfly called it) and ha jiwon's character was soft yet strong and smart, and the girl power was cute, but everything from the big plot to the comedy was meh ;/
and the dubbing was so weird as if it was an old movie..

I have a love/hate relationship with Park Soo Ae's acting, but fashion designer (ie wears pretty clothes), cold smart female lead (ie my type) and a team leader who's 38 (ie mature)? yess~~
