and the director showing the world from Moon Sang Tae's pov adds so much more emotions to his character, I really CRIED during the signing event ;(

I really love the smooth editing here! the transitions between each scene, the little "cute" eccentric moments, the "view point" of Sang Tae's world which made me cry, everything is so beautiful ;D


also, speaking of "ratings" a 6 is a great rating for cable channels like tvn and ocn. even a 3 is considered good for them.

comparing this to hotel del luna is a good thing, I loved that and I love this too.
both are different from other dramas. both have a strong independent female lead that has a life, a career and a background away from the male lead.
both have the sweet precious male lead that's not a pushover, he can protect but he doesn't overstep.
both have beautiful outfits and hairstyles that actually define and highlight the fls characteristics.
and both give off a "fairy tale" like vibe but that's it. the stories are different, the personalities of the characters are different, HDL was a fantasy genre while this is a "realistic" world that focuses on a "fairy tale writer" so they got a free pass to use those elements in the drama as aesthetics

yeah I know ;( I kinda felt like someone was gonna die again since they started with a death, but both were unnecessary tbh, that's why I removed a mark from the plot ;(

yes of course, he should stay away from the cliches, I personally loved his "love line" in mad dog, it was never the focus and it was subtle so it was beautiful~

we tbh need more and better female characters and love stories that are not "sparkly"

money wise they lost nothing and actually gained what they aimed for, now what they lost is as you said is the idea that spending more money equals to becoming a big popular loved drama so now if anything they'd be more reluctant about spending too much just becasue they have the big writer or actor.

tbh most Kim Eun Sook's dramas are mediocre but the "romance" hype gets more people to watch them and at the end of the day DOTS and Goblin are considered "amazing"..

I wish this makes them appreciate the small writers and actors more than thinking how they could redo the hype things like CLOY got

tbh the king/queen theme was the lowest of their plot move. the basic theme was more around the 2 worlds and the flute. so unless they have more flutes this would turn into a family drama.

now that'd have saved this drama xD

oh I doubt it even more that they'd risk it and bring idols that act worse if not as bad as LMH xD and I doubt those idols want to risk their small acting credit to be in this mess
the actors basically 1st need a different writer and directors before considering this, plus Kim Eun Sook needs to save her name and work on something she can pull off with a bang

there's really no need for a 2nd season unless they want more ppl money.. for one thing the ending was wrapped in several bows so unless they add more cheap conflict they have no story. or else they'll cast different people or try to sell the same people as different characters but I doubt the actors would want to come back to this.
plus 90% of kdramas never get a 2nd season so the chances of this getting one is as low as veronica mars s5 xD

also save me, but tbh did woo do hwan ever make a bad drama? (don't mention the great seducer it was the writer's fault xD)
