this turned out long, so feel free to not read it if you want xD also play my sassy girl ost in the background

well he starts off as the typical cold expressionless "live by the book" no nonsense bodyguard who only lives for his mission/his kings orders, but as the drama goes by we can see how he's more than that.

usually these types of characters don't have much of a social life or personality outside of their job, but young was actually super sweet and a little cheeky (he always rolled his eyes or smirked whenever no one was looking at him so even if he did the job he'd still be annoyed about it, like that scene where he pretends to be eunsub and calls yigon playfully xD)
seeing those laptop stickers it was obvious that he was fun loving and sociable, he not only had friends outside of yigon but it also showed his playful side when he used those cute filters. on the other hand when he meets eunsub he seems "condescending" of eunsub's life style, but tbh those 2 were the only ones who didn't hate their counterpart and they both genuinely cared for each other.
also, in his world, his parents get a divorce and he doesn't have any siblings but he cared and loved eunsub's siblings as if they were his own (we could see this by the way he'd carry their bags and wait for them to come home).
also at the end when he needed to leave, eunsub seems like the "emotional" one but young was the one who went for a hug and promised that they'll meet again, so again he was caring and as emotional as eunsub.
and then when yigon asks him if he wants to meet eunsub again he worried that it'd mess eunsub's life so he said no and he was really sad about it (though I think the writer/director just didn't want to film their scenes, becasue young would've gone back since their 1st interaction went pretty smoothly tbh)..
anyway, the last point is that when the drama starts we have C Myung who seems to be in a one sided crush, and young seemed like he didn't share those feelings and he was only focusing on his job, but when he met K Myung his description of her was "the pretty girl -something I can't remember) so he obviously had feelings for her too, and with that his ending scene is his brief (cheaply done by the directors) hand holding move that shows he indeed started dating her becasue he liked her all along ;D

I just read the synopsis and this feels like itaewon class 2.0 xD they have the 20 year old who's "infatuated" by a unforgettable guy that she chases after him and ends up working for him ;/

WDH deserved a better drama after my country , why is he so unlucky :(
now he has a main main lead in a drama called Hero, I hope it goes well and more people appreciate him~

I don't know I should love this drama for giving me such a great complex character such as young, or hate them for not giving him enough scenes ;(

does anyone know where I can find a full compilation of wdh's scenes?

I started the skipping by ep10 ish though for the rest I needed to watch it with a friend so we could make fun…
I'm glad, and he even got a new drama so it means even the production companies/writers are noticing him~

List Worst PPL
You should never watch the king then xD the ppl had more dialogue than the characters xD
Lol my pleasure xD though if you were interested in the plot or actors you could give it a shot and see if you can handle all the fried chicken, the coffee and the lipstick/blush they love so much xD

Tbh I dropped Goblin. I just couldn't take the fl who was a teenager in love with a 40 year old guy with a 400 year old soul. Age gaps aside their mental age was totally different. For this the worst problem was the 1d characters and the lack of chemistry so it was easy to skip.

Agree, this is a very bad drama and very funny review. I only watched scenes with WDH, fast forwarded through…

one of the many many many things I hated about this is how eunsub and young didn't reunite!

it's like yigon and taeul were selfishly using the portal every week and the portal didn't close so young meeting eunsub wouldn't be a selfish move (on the contrary it's less selfish this time because he won't get shot)
so they could just take young to korea and recreate their 1st meeting and boom, eunsub and young would be instant friends that could meet every week just like the 2 mians ;(

that would've been better than the cosplay party we got of the 2 never introducing each other to their friends and family and meeting twice a week without building a solid circle

Was it as hilarious as their plot? :D
Oh yeseee~ I feel proud. Now I only have to move to Korean and show this to the production companies and get the WDH script deal I've been dreaming off ~~~

Aw I appreciate being linked and known as the ultimate WDHer~ I hope my comments were able to express his true…
I watched the whole drama and I agree xD though I really loved young and eunsub as characters I kinda wonder if his characteristics/backstory were by the writer or someone else.
at one point they showed us young's laptop and the stickers on them really gave him so much depth as a character and I want to know who's idea was that! ;D

Nari and Eun Sop we’re dating, he answered her phone call talking about her not needing diets in a romantic…
it does mean honey but usually they only mostly use it for their spouse (though I'm not korean and I can only use dramas as my source xD)
