I didn't say that, I just meant that since royi is the "sweet" kind, yiseo can be the "not sweet" kinda :) you know since people have be saying she's not a good female lead because she's "not sweet"...
you would not believe how many "sweet trusting" male characters I have in my "dislike" list xD I wasn't a fan of that aspect of royi either, but since he stands up for his people and he doesn't allow injustice, I like him. and I'd have loved a female vr of him even more~
honestly, I agree that most people think that, but did you even see my list? I have a lot more, the main point as deswrath said "A strong female character is a well written female character." and I wrote this article so people can see how many great female leads are out there.

I noticed that too, whether it's about a character or a drama, if they make it layered enough that it clicks with the viewers than that's honestly all that matters~ actually, since you mentioned Seo Hyun Jin, she had a drama recently where basically the character was a new teacher so she was lacking in a lot of different aspects, but but she just clicked with me and I loved and admired her so much~

aw thanks~ I have so many great fls, but it kinda got hard when I tried to describe their plots and what I liked about them xD but hopefully I can keep it up becasue I love nothing more than talking about a great female character~
Yi Seo is seriously the queen and my dream female lead ;) I've had my ups and downs with this drama, but that makes it better, I don't feel like it's awesome just becasue I love it, it actually has many charming points about it~

just today I watched a drama special that had that same old naive female character (and the irrational cold guy) and it seems like it's the easy way out for writers, they don't have to work hard on a character development and they could just add 1 "new" plot move, and bam they have a drama ;/

I have watched three of those dramas because of a friend with impeccable taste. ;) And I agree with the characters…
when I was writing this I read an interview for one of the writers here and she admitted that she knows she usually writers horrible 1d female characters but she wasn't afraid to ask the director and others to help her write her newest fl. so as long as they admit it and realize the need for change there's hope~
