you know since people have be saying she's not a good female lead because she's "not sweet"...
you would not believe how many "sweet trusting" male characters I have in my "dislike" list xD I wasn't a fan of that aspect of royi either, but since he stands up for his people and he doesn't allow injustice, I like him. and I'd have loved a female vr of him even more~
honestly, I agree that most people think that, but did you even see my list? I have a lot more, the main point as deswrath said "A strong female character is a well written female character."
and I wrote this article so people can see how many great female leads are out there.
I mean ignoring the fact that she was not real, remember when she supposedly took down the "pervert" ;P
I noticed that too, whether it's about a character or a drama, if they make it layered enough that it clicks with the viewers than that's honestly all that matters~
actually, since you mentioned Seo Hyun Jin, she had a drama recently where basically the character was a new teacher so she was lacking in a lot of different aspects, but but she just clicked with me and I loved and admired her so much~
awesome~ you'll love be melo! it's basically "female centered" so there are a several cool ladies there~
I've had my ups and downs with this drama, but that makes it better, I don't feel like it's awesome just becasue I love it, it actually has many charming points about it~
I hope you enjoy them and I'll look forward to your views~
just today I watched a drama special that had that same old naive female character (and the irrational cold guy) and it seems like it's the easy way out for writers, they don't have to work hard on a character development and they could just add 1 "new" plot move, and bam they have a drama ;/
I recommend XX, it's a short webdrama with a nice fresh outlook on the usual cliches~
I mean, we get the sweet trusting person in Sae Ro Yi, so in some ways Yi Seo is what would usually be the male leads "role"..
sometimes in corruption dramas I see things like "cool a gray female character", so why can't we have that in a more "romcom" like drama?
ps, your friend really has impeccable taste ;p
DD has the kind of vibe I love, the modernized historical~
I never got to the past story xD that's how I missed on the fun ;)
