I always talked about Eugene, but I want to talk about how Hye Joon was such a great character. she never said things to please people and she always till the end said the obvious, which might seem easy but people always sugar coat things becasue they worry about "hurting" someone's feelings, or overstepping their boundaries, or the worst part "seniority".

honestly I want a second season just to see her raise in her rank and become the Director ;)

exactly! they are probably writing it for the newbie passerby who randomly starts a drama rather than a hardcore fan of the genre (or basically anyone who watched more than 2 dramas in their lifetime)

I'd say 2017 was the last year I found worthy crime dramas (but don't quote me on that, it's just when voice and tunnel aired xD)
but yeah, maybe signal 2 would finally revive the crime genre..

yeah I'm watching, and I'm actually enjoying it. I love slow healing stories, though I'd prefer less of the past highschool feud and more focus on the 3 main characters' current life

it kinda highlight's BY's victim mentality and her true feelings. she probably never cared for HW and held to the false assumption of "misunderstanding" to continue on..

I think they might wrap it off hinting the end ship as HJ and YH but we'll have to wait. I too don't want a sudden "yo yo they got married" or whatever.
He clearly does like her but she wouldn't take his sometimes childish jealousies? She doesn't back down just because he doesn't agree with her. And I kinda feel like they balance each other out well..

But I also feel like she doesn't "hate" eugene just because he's "the enemy". It might not be romantic feelings but she does try to understand him as a human. And that's why I kinda feel like she's the most rational person between them all..


Honestly I'd have loved a real romantic drama with these types of characters. But atleast I could overanalyze them :)

No I actually agree with you but I also feel like her refusing to "define" their relationship is kinda like trying to tell everyone to stop thinking there needs to be any romantic relationship between a man and a woman, especially just because "the man showed interest".
Everyone keeps saying "you are a woman after all" And she answers with "what the heck does that have anything to do with anything.."

for anyone who's wondering if they should start this, 1st of all this is kinda not the usual type of drama, and sure we are all here having fun shipping people, but truth be told this is not a romance drama, and it's not trying to be either but the characters are so well made that we enjoy their chemistry together.

so basically this is a character driven plot, and you need to think of the complicatedness of business part as something we are just not used to...

yes! same! he was like a son/brother to Young Jin! both of them were healing together ;(
I understand a new death used to make the viewers feel the main's pain, but he was too precious! and his death will make us riot!! (like the shut up flower boy band guy) ;/

the backstory of Hae Won and Bo Young is just too shallow.. I mean even as a teenager, who in their right mind would think a real "she's a murder's daughter" is better than a false "she was pregnant"?
it's so simple, the fake rumors die down, and HW could've taken actions. but the truth literally messed up her teenage life...

so my point is that, HW said exactly that in 2 seconds when she reunited with BY, so it feels too convenient for the writers to give HW a "traumatic" past.

ikr! when he was on the roof I was like, "he'll be fine, he's a main" but the he fell and my heart broke! T_T
wait she said that? I only saw that no one seemed sad, and the teacher was really calm...
maybe then, if he dies, they'll show him in flashbacks? ;(

Eun Ho is a main character so it's doubtful that he'll die, but his accident will make Young Jin investigate the school and therefore find out more about the wide spearedness of "New Life Church"
