In game survival shows I feel like they’re always mixing between half good and half bad to keep the tension low until the final showdown
For once I wish for tension from the start
For me I’m most impressed with lawyer lady after that memory game
Soekjin and shiwon don’t like the alliance cuz they’re not in it, they were the first to make their four way smartest alliance, the rest had to survive too
By now I wouldn’t mind orbit becoming selfish and winning cuz even lawyer lady did
Soekjin and shiwon still have their alliance strong, their only option to to weaken the other group, but would that be the “fairness” they want? Only to benefit themselves

Tbh as I remember in the og, betrayals and knowing how to play the players was the point
Their twists and cliffhangers were off the chart, this one kinda feels bland

Tho people like jinho had that ideology of being the smartest while not using the others, I could be wrong it’s been 10years but him and dongmin were always my favorite cuz I felt like they were more out braining the game rather than using people

And tbh the PD loves a certain typecastness of people, at times I feel like I’m seeing the past cast reincarnated 🤣

if you like this sort of thing then yeah, it’s an office drama sismance and mistreatment of women in work positions
It had subtle comedy and great acting, I enjoyed it🤷🏻‍♀️

Devastating, cruel, heartaching, bleak like a domino effect of misfortune
Just like Saw and The Mist, everything would’ve been better if they worked together
But in this black cold interpretation, one bad choice, one act of unkindness, led to another bigger deeper hole

I wouldn’t mind a second season of this crime solving duo

He could’ve even used it for money and manipulating people like politicians and such
But atleast he chose one evil🤣

Basically as a mystery and the events related to it, the writer did well
They suspected enough people with good reason and the villain did well too
Yebun was a normal person with zero “survival skills” and that was ok, it was what made this duo funny. She was a sheltered “idiot” and I was proud of her growth

There were two scenes I really enjoyed this ep, it was the “needle” scene and the bikers🤣👍🏻

I might’ve not enjoyed it without a mom watch but atleast since no crime/mystery/suspense drama since 2016 appealed to me, this did well

Yeah but sunwoo was the evidence that allowed the cops to arrest him

Like yeah fl would’ve told ml and they’d have had to put him under 24/7 surveillance to try again to find evidence and that’d take a couple of more eps and deaths

He was smart and figured it out or he was scared and didn’t wanna look in his eyes cuz even normal ppl usually worry their eyes “exposes” them

For now their eyes aren’t gonna reveal anything more, tho they should’ve used the glasses on him and see if it can stop him from atleast reading their emotions and stress

Without him they’d have never known it was the shaman

Idk if I’m disappointed or not
I mean, it’d have been weird if it was someone else like the cop lady or aunt’s ex
So the shaman was always obvs
But I was disappointed in it being from the eyes, it also does make sense that he wasn’t touching the cow, tho I thought he’d see from objects

Anyway the eyes, they shouldn’t have shown the VG being annoyed at him through the reflection, I always thought he saw that so I sused him right away
And also the eyes, he could easily find ppl like the assemblyman or someone even bigger and always blackmail them into letting him go
So his behavior of only threatening with the friend is too weak
And the actor, if it was someone more random or someone more unknown as a bad guy, it’d have not been so obv

I was proud of yebun tho🥹 and the whole building up and excuses and reasonings all made perfect sense

That’s the loophole tho isn’t it?
Having the same pd makes it easy to copy the content

But that’s also the annoying part, no need to act like this is a new separate game show🤷🏻‍♀️
I’m a fan of his ideas and I was anticipating something different from TG and the great escape

Since they hired the same PD they know and handled all legal stuff
Doesn’t change the fact that it’s the same with a different name🤷🏻‍♀️

I feel in games one should be “shameless” so it reflects more on guillaume not saying “haha you solved it cuz I started it well”
But if one wants to be “fair” and gain allies, that guy should’ve gone to guillaume but he also seems to be the intimidated type so he didn’t want red coat against him

I wasn’t planning on dropping so that’s a good sign 🥹

I blame their format, it took them around 6eps to start giving “backstories” to the other characters
And since it’s the halfway mark it also feels too late to spend time on that

I don’t mind being a minority and I wanted to like this so much, I like the cast and I love “superpower” genres
But I started it since it aired and I’m barely done with ep11, it’s just not clicking with me

Not the red coat acting like she solved those puzzles, she didn’t have a clue when guillaume didn’t start and fix half of those puzzles
