Where are you guys watching the new eps 🥹 I can’t find it even in the Arabic sub sites like last week 😭

I thought ahjussi was sweet but the limit of his kindness and gentle heart shined when he desperately cleaned the house before rohee went it😭

then from the heartwarming reunion of ahjussi and his daughter, to him asking rohee to come along and her acting tough but happy, the hug with his daughter and calling rohee eonnie😭 and rohee cutely saying she’ll make a room for heeae 😭
But it all just hit maximum pain when rohee desperately tried to cling onto the only parental figure she had while he also had to make the hard mature decision to face the consequences of his actions so he could come back and start a new life😭 and it just continued on with the cops raid😭😭😭😭😭

This ep hit hard😭😭😭 it went back to that first ep emotional roller coaster, the run was a bit rough with the constant shift but this ep was beautiful
From rohee’s gentle smile to that ending😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I’d say my top5 for 2023 in order they came out in is Celebrity, My Dearest and Kidnapping Day as top3 without a doubt, maybe bloodhounds tho I can’t think of any other drama
Maybe, duty after school but only pt1🥹

I remember this fondly now thankfully the subplots were really forgettable 🤣

his exams as a kid was the one with the perfect score that made the dr choose him, or was it so bad the dr chose it🤣

If myungjoon can’t adopt rohee them rohee can adopt him and his daughter 🤣😭🥹

Book smart, street smart and plain logic are so different
Like ahjussi is the book smart, while hyeeun seemed “street smart” and manipulating, while detective park has a bit of street smart and logic
It’s nice that not everyone is plain geniuses or plain stupid

For me ep8’s highlight was when rohee took out the gun and smirked after telling ahjussi she can’t shoot cuz she’s a kid and before ahjussi telling her to give away her gun🤣

Idk what’s funnier, ahjussi calling Jayden as Jayz, detective park actually believing him and saying it back coolly or ahjussi running to detective park after the gun fight and saying “it wasn’t Jayz it was Jayden ”, happy that he remembers🤣🤣🤣

Meanwhile Jayz went penthouse crazy🤣

Still fl’s 24 was way too naive🤣🤣🤣 hee voice gave me nightmares 😮‍💨

I watched it in Arabic subs cuz they didn’t sub the English parts and I “couldn’t hear them”😮‍💨🙈

Yeah why did those people work for him when they could’ve easily turned against him?
Even if they were damaged scared ppl, they were powerful enough to snap at him and say “you can’t control me”
Like the earthquake guy sacrificing himself to help his friend and finish the mission, why did no one just kill the bad guy to run away?

I wasn’t paying attention but I don’t think he himself had any powers
Especially when dooshik just “manifested” in his office and killed him, and I’m talking about how easily it looked like to be free, that was it

Exactly she was happier with the fake daughter 🤣
I’d have expected a whole mom/daughter date shopping and eating food and talking
But even the girl was like ah I met them, they’re rich, let me give money to my homeless friends and go detective working 🙃

So much is going on but nothing happens and their editing timeline is weird
She met her, changed clothes and went to meet her friends then went back to the office and changed again just for a phone call then went to that guys house like two days later
All that when she should’ve been spending time with her daughter and gone both places with her

I’m glad janghyuk wasn’t brought in to “easily save her” and she does her best to depend on herself
Her desperation made her hurt herself, her kindness towards that grandpa made him help her out, and her selflessness towards that kid might make that sister also help her
She knows how hard it is to be protected, she doesn’t want to use jangyuk as a tool for her safety 😭 so she puts herself through hell to depend and defend herself and her friends

Women had so little value, you’d think one man would’ve come forward and said “make a law forbidding the violation of women” or teach them how to fight

But no, it’s easier for women to kill themselves
And people degrade gilchae, she’s the bravest character, always protecting her people by her own means
