I’m shocked and sad these two aren’t tags one can easily search for
Like, how sad was it that she had no friends, her dad’s friends never asked about her, those mountain idiots not only didn’t wonder where she went, they didn’t care she didn’t return with them
And the dad not telling the ex, I get it but dude she wouldn’t remember saying she didn’t want them to know and of course her family would care about her, I wish they had more daughter/mom moments cuz that could’ve been as heartbreaking as the dad/daughter
And this was going well until the third part where it just didn’t make sense anymore
There were many things they could’ve done better and it left a “unfinished” taste
The bad guys already know and want her and they literally killed in the police station to protect themselves
Which is another thing that was “swept under the rug”
Hyeeun also needs the fact that she was abused as a kid for her case, which they also didn’t mention what happened to her
Tho dr killing his wife was the narrative from the start even from the security guy so I’d think they didn’t mention it cuz it’s not a new fact
But many things were brushed past
Basically dr mo’s kid and “normos” won’t benefit from it?
Tbh not saying how many years ahjussi got, and technically isn’t hyeeun’s murder, self defense?
Also basically the worst part of the experiments is hyeeun, robbed of childhood and love then abandoned
Dr mo’s kid honestly just needs a caring mom
And what about the “X” people and lang hanuel, that was a really nice twist
It left too many unanswered questions
And I’m a bit sad ahjussi didn’t have any impact at the end, tho I understood the need of young hyeeun, old hyeeun also deserved to be highlighted
She got stuck in that trauma so she basically never “grew up” but she did also have major issues
And was rohee’s dad a successful experiment or was he just smart and driven by money and his dads career path
The ending was a bit underwhelming for me, loose ends, fast resolutions and not enough ahjussi
I hope he gets a new project soon❣
those accusations were the problem not the bullying which he apologized for right away..
so what's worse, a kid not knowing better or an adult bullying a "celebrity" because they were jealous of him?
to be honest, I'm not taking sides of those bad childhood decisions, but the answer to all of these bullying news isn't "bullies became celebrities now let's ruin their lives" but "how can it be stopped and never repeated", it sure isn't stopped by "exposing" decisions from 18 years ago and ruining careers, like would it have mattered if that bully became a team manager in a company?
and "loyalty", did we have loyalty as kids? friends come and go, leaving isn't betrayal..
I was a person who made friends with the new kids cuz they looked lost, and I sure had those friends "leave" and choose to be with the popular kids once they figured out the cliques, and yes those girls did bully people, not beat up just tease annoyingly.. but will I go to their company and blame them for something over decades ago? no, we all learn, grow and mature, I for sure believe those 18 year olds are now respected adults
LSY was the only reason I stayed what a glow up 😏
Even the director admitted it
Usually kids x adult is used for a cheap heartwarming story, like Space Sweepers, and oh my giumbi which I did love, but here our ahjussi is just such a dad full of heart and eventho he’s not “the brain” he never took a second thought while he made a decision for his girls
What time does it usually come out on kdrama hood?
