This has my three most hated plots, shadow sister, ie not talking to your own twin, fighting over a boy when there wasn’t a fight, and the most blank white paper mls, give me a red flag any day over these two
It’s also a story as old as time “does he really know, or is he just dumb” their past for sure shows he’s dumb
So she’s running like Speedy Gonzales, and yet happens to catch her sister hugging ml at the exact time hidden in the pathway of the bleachers, yet not that hidden?
And he “always” like miji but always kind to mirae who was struggling, yet her own sister never noticed the struggles and hated her sis out of jealousy?
I hate bros or sisters fighting over one person, but misunderstanding and one sidedly hating? That’s sooooo cheesy
For example, my book I was reading, they’re 15/16, and mls adopted bro was nice to the fl and honestly I thought he was the one, but the silent bro turned out to like her. And he was like sulking that he’d have to like her as his bros girl, but he liked her as a girl
I don’t remember how it happened but the “cool bro” was super cool with them liking each other and supported them
So it doesn’t make sense, for ml to only be there for mirae as a friend, and miji to just be jealous when ml never told her he liked either
And to not talk with your sis is just crazy, even without a sis, me and my mom are like sisters

But ironically I like the fls voice, tho not when she yells🫡 I don’t mind their mythology but fl being manhandled, scammed and blah blah is eyeroll worthy
Fl is screaming and yelling almost all the time now it’s getting annoying like Vincenzo fl

improve drama
if this had any realness to it, they'd have all walked out alone. I looked at this like I do any other drama, cheesy writer with cheesier acting. but I still enjoyed it cuz that's the main element in entertainment, CHEESE~~~~~this was 100% scripted cuz no one would act that cheesyliy, falling in love in 8 days? choosing and fighting for someone you know nothing about beside their ideal type? rejecting someone before talking to them? they were all basically trying to not end up alone and get more screentime, do I blame them, nope.
did I enjoy nagging about every single contestant? yes. do I think any of them showed their true self? no. do I care about their real personalities? also no cuz I'm pretty sure all of them would be more secure of themselves when faced with real people they're interested in ;p

Fl is a big foot actor with crazy behavior, like she was literally eating and sticking out her tongue while her eyes were boggling like ....
And the fat shaming is returned, her step sis is chubby, and they put pig noises when she’s eating but then fl goes to eat and it’s fine, tho they also have her “omg my face is bloated” like why is the face getting fat for eating tho I do know like salty food makes a bit of puffiness but she also tells her “sleep on the floor your body is like a sleeping bag
Like the step sis is weird but it’s hardly cuz she’s fat and they have her act like a baby throwing tantrums

He even talks so roboticly you'd never know it was a human that died and went inside a phone
Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if his silver town? Lining? Thought he was the real 2ml cuz they used his characteristics to program him
But the ml is annoying. He never had a solid job and he became a ceo but instead of working hard he's being a lazy
Like it'd have been funny if he suddenly showed on the phone and connects to the tv or a watch 🤷🏻♀️

kind of like a reveres www, which was slightly frustrating, but atleast the main couple there started a "relationship" and had struggles through it, and it wasn't their main key word.. like they had a life outside of the romance?
also, the side plot, or more like the main plot(?) surrounding the guy is again so boring and pointless.. I REALLY didn't care for any his personal "struggles"....
my rewatch values are a 1 or a 10, also the music really didn't leave an impression on me, and I remember times when the song was louder than their talking?

I think I was too kind giving pt1 a 10, tho Kim taeri is a certified 10 every timeThis was like a tv show that was cut into two seasons with a year gap, the story continues right where it left off but the memories were hazy, I remember the events but not the plot
My mom also watched pt1 I think😝 I think I was working and I made her watch. it wasn’t a watch with me so she didn’t remember it well
I feel like, acting and visuals were 10/10, the mix of time travel, historical times, and aliens was cool, but the characters lacked much depth and presence, everything was too convenient to wrap up the story from the start
It’d would’ve been better as a tv show with a bit more scenes at the end
The plot “twist” of the evil one being in her and the robot dad giving his powers to ml then thunder being the catguys was nice
But it didn’t give much time for character exploration, everything just fell into place to make the last fight
Mom wanted to see how he’d go back to her🤣 he got the taxi part but how will he know where she is?
And it’s kinda sad, she lost her childhood in the future and she’s back to her present as an adult and lost her dad/uncle dad😆
But atleast ml could go to her🥹

what is that awkward, slow mo, random love square, horrible voice fl that's trying way too hard to be cute, and the brooding dude that's so squeaky?
it's like gen z killing the beautiful school series, though tbh the school series "made it" because they always had good main actors, atleast they had ones I liked xD
I mean, it's kinda school 2017 but different cast.. a friend died, the fl loves a random hobby, the ml is brooding, they're "enemies to lovers" and they have 2 randoms who're in their squared love line

beside the husband not just being bad, he's trash and penthouse lvl trash, honestly nothing makes sense as to why she didn't leave his whiny mama boy loser behind..
the drama starts with her saying "omg my husband is cheating so sad", but like everything pre his cheating sucked about him, honestly his cheating was the most chill thing
PMY loosing so much weight to represent her illness, that lasted half an ep while she's out there looking sick and hurting her real health.. she could've just shaved her head instead...
and, I'm not hating on ml cuz of the river moon thing, I don't blame him for that, but there are three lvls of foot actors, hot foot actors, popular (but not my type) foot actors, and average dudes that just really can't act nor are they popular foot actors, people one think he's better off as a side character while amazing side actors always lose a chance to get a main...
also, she's more clumsy than bella, and girl is always tripping and getting twirled by ml while he does a weird eyebrow move every second like he's smelling something bad...
2023 to 2024 dramas suck... and yeah i am including my boy jdy's dramas and no I'm actually oddly not in the "find fault everywhere" mode

she’s trying hard but her acting is too theatrical and the “makjang” plotlines aren’t engaging enough, so what he might have cheated or has a twin or a lookalike, so what she has a stalker and she suses her employee. So what he bff is cheating or lying

Koreans are racist but I think especially the ml, really showcased a good understanding of cultural differences
He didn’t make fun of them, he understood their values and in the end he used them to encourage the guys well
And even if some were shocked by these “villagers” everyone was really supportive and kind
Sadly real world isn’t that simple but I wouldn’t hate the sequel
The “unknown” actors also did a really good job, with minimum communication, they still conveyed their emotions well, I really liked the subtle emotions of shika, being overwhelmed by civilization, being away from his village and people and not wanting to play this game of fighting for their survival

wash, rinse and repeat
this left a bad after taste... so basically there's goblin right? then hotel del luna was a reverse goblin so yey, then came that nine tail fox which was pushing it with a few other low qualities like the water god, the blade thingy, that time stopping thing and it all led to thisyet another repetition. dying sad lonely girl. immortal self centered cold dude and the dramatic near death truck of doom while dude slows time and tries to help her up, all in which will lead to saving her life in the end
basically it's a big waste on boyoung, she should be a manweol not the sad damsel in distress and SIG is yet again doing the same role, I don't think this would offer anything
this should've been done by "newer" actresses, even a newer actor to atleast give them attention, otherwise both are too good for this teen fantasy borefest

I wanted to watch this for nana but wow that's so boring. like if it was written in 2010s, why won't they even try to modify it to fit 2021?
I mean cliches are fun but if it never went away it's just another boring drama!!!
the ml is SO BAD, beside his monotonal life that doesn't appeal to me whatsoever, this is like the 3rd time Lee Min Ki's been acting as that type of character in a raw, agh I miss his Shut Up: Flower Boy Band role
the fl seems fresh, usually she'd be a crybaby to the jerk, but then it's one of those enemies to lovers thing and they bicker so much it's off putting. which again would be nana's 2nd time as that type of romance
I got curious on the white dude though but the plot doesn't even mention it? anyway this is a drop after the 1st half of ep1

she approached taeoh first and flirted with his frozen heart, but "he's too poor" and she rejected inho and didn't drag him along but "he's too rich"..
at least she could be genuine to inha, but instead she plays both and she's not worth either..
this drama is like my country, both boys have an objective, their friendship is built on the common need to use one another, it's toxic, but it's power struggle..
and the romance is forced in to soften it and appeal to girls..
but gen z's don't even reject both and brood, they want both and blame the guys for it..

Shin Hye Sun looked gorgeous as Ju Eun Ho but Ju Hye Ri is the 180 opposite, she talks annoyingly, and acts like a total child/airhead
also from what i watched, her behavior towards 2ml was harassment, to kiss him when he doesn't even know her, or maybe she imagined it. i didn't stay long enough
i read the past trauma about the sister, and how 2ml is her sisters crush? but two eps in and no one really had any character layout, they barely showed the mls, or any reasoning for their behaviors, so i got bored and dropped
Shin Hye Sun always shows a "two personality" type of characters, and i do hate it when the focal character becomes the unnaturally young/naive type
