I too, stop watching Thai lakorn after a few episodes. It's been really hard for me to get back into lakorns. However, there's something charming about lakorn and to me it is because of the ridiculous plot and the over dramatic scenes. Maybe this is why I can never really stay away from lakorn lol. But yes I agree with you!

Just because someone won an award for something doesn't necessarily means they are now more talent than the others. There are so many actors who deserve to be awarded for their acting but have yet to be. If you're reasoning for saying AHS is better than NJH just because he won Baeksang then clearly that's your bias.

This drama seriously deserved the high rating! I am always skeptic and this mini series is usually far from my taste in drama but man I enjoyed every episodes!

At first I couldn't get into it as well mostly because of the web interview style. But I am a hopeless romantic and I just love anything romance so that kept me wanting more. It's okay to not enjoy it or find the drama missing something. Maybe you'll pick it up again one day.

Where they list all the drama information, the original network they put KBS2 Netflix. Probably an error then.

Soo i know up there it says KBS2 Netflix but do you perhap know if it is for sure going to be on Netflix? I'm only asking because none of the articles really stated Netflix. I hate being so excited for a drama just to realize it's not on either Netflix or Viki 😭

I agreed with you. This is definitely not the BEST KDRAMA of the year type of thing but I enjoyed it. I don't know if people were triggered by the age difference between the two or if they're just not happy with JCW choice of work or all of the above. I am a bit sad that it felt like the leads didn't have a proper "love" but you can definitely feel the love in the air.

I seriously love your comment in so many aspect. The way you said JCW work has matured as an actor which I totally agreed. I love that all of his dramas you can really see he has matured as an actor in the way he chooses his drama, the way he portrayed each of his characters and how he has show progression throughout his acting career. All I have seen lately are negative comments about his work and comparing them to pre military. It is nice to see a positive comment.

You should rewatch it, I love this web drama so much. When you said rewatch it, did you mean to finish it? This drama is definitely not everyone cup of tea and I'll never pressure people to watch because they'll already have a negative mindset. However, I love that this drama took a different approach and the vulnerability on love, I really felt all of it. Like my comment below, this is one of JCW work that I will always remembered because of how well he expressed his character through PJW. JCW raw emotions, his pain and his crying scenes, I felt all of that.

Do you believe in magic? Even when our subconscious tell us it's not real, we believe it because it make us happy in that moment. Why do we stopped believing in the things we used to as a child once we become adult? I don't know. Maybe it's because life forces us to become adult, responsible adult. While other may feel this mini series have too many unanswered questions or plot holes, I like to believe they didn't want to stray away from the manhwa. Romance? Does a drama need to have romance to make it better? If you're looking for romance then this drama isn't for you. This series is much more than just trying to survive in a crazy world of growing up and how if you're slightly different, people will paint you in all kinds of person in their mind.

Moon Lover have left me with so many emotional damages. I havent watch love and redemption , will have to check it out.

I believe it'll just be a total of 6 episodes. I've heard the manhwa didn't have much chapters so I don't think it'll be more then one season.

Yeah forreal. I had such high hope for him in lovers of the red sky but then even him playing a blind person wasn't convincing. Nonetheless I'm glad he got this role.

Umm actually you need to re read what I wrote because cleary you missed my point. I never "suggested" any of the actors above to play this role. I listed actors that have left a memorable role on me compare to AHS. People are always saying AHS is a great actor with different roles but yet none of his previous dramas have yet to left an impact on me.

I can see why it reminds you of TGS. I haven't read the manwha but my sister did and she was shock that it was going to be musical, but not in a negative way. The only thing that is reminding me of TGS is the musical aspect. Other than that I don't think there will be too much similarities between the two. If anything the magical trailer really make me feel excited and remembering my inner child self of magic.

Actually I have never even watched any of KTR work prior to 2521 or heard of her. I also didn't keep up to date with all the news regarding 2521. I was only aware of the drama after the trailer was released. I definitely did not anticipated the drama for either NJH or KTR. I would of watched 2521 regardless of who played because I was intrigued by the story, not who was cast.

Yes of course everyone may or may not get their break through drama and that's not entirely the actor themselves fault. Poor writing, editing, acting and everything involved can't be save. I have watched enough of AHS work and in no doubt he can act.

I rarely watched Greg dramas or anything Taiwanese so going into Someday or one day with a fresh eyes, his acting was impressive. Now, I'm not saying AHS have to pulled off the exact character, I'm not even expecting anything similar. Just from the previous works he portrayed his characters, like I said nothing stand out. So yes I am going to watch this still and I rarely compare remake. I hope that AHS will protray this character differently.

In no doubt am I saying AHS can't act or that he's not a talented actor. It's true he has done various kind of work with different genre's but there has yet to be one where I have found his role to be memorable. This drama could be that one for me but I find the way he portrayed everyone of his characters bland and very similar. Nothing really stand out for me. Having watched the original version I know how the ML character is and of course remake will make their own twist and add on. However, one thing for sure is that Greg in the original version was able to expressed so many emotions and feelings through his character. Facial expression is such an important trait that will be able to sell the audience to fully immersed themselves in a drama or at least to me it is. Again, I don't hate AHS nor am I doubting his ability I just haven't found myself impressed in any of his work where I can really say, "omg he's an incredible actor".  So yes, part of me wish someone else was cast as the ML but it's not the end of the world or to the point where I'll boycott this drama.

And just to name a few of the actors:

Lee Jun Ho, his impressive acting in The Red Sleeve will always be my most memorable drama from him. The way he was able to changed his expression and emotions all in one scene.

Lee Joon Gi, Although I freakin love him in Moon lovers, his Flower of Evil is really something different.

Ji Chang Wook, although this is an unpopular opinion I love his character in Lovestruck in the City. Why? His raw emotions, his feelings, his pain, and his crying, man I felt that.

Nam Joo Hyuk, I have never been too fond of his works but twenty five twenty one made me realized how much he had matured as an actor. Twenty five twenty one wasn't a masterpiece however, it made me realize that he was more than a handsome face. His acting skills has really shone through with twenty five twenty one.

I guess what I am trying to say is, I want to be able to feel something on a level with the character. So yes I am looking forward to this remake, just not expecting too much.
