Wonderful story, acting and ost
Love Between Lines earns a full 10 out of 10 from me.
Although it is a contemporary drama, it opens with visually striking fantasy-like sequences in an vr scenery that blend in beautifully and later intentionally lose relevance. I really appreciate that ideas are not overused.
Chen Xing Xu and Lu Yu Xiao share wonderful chemistry – calm meets playful, never naive.
The story feels warm and balanced, focused on the relationship, supported by a lovely OST, sensitive direction and a satisfying happy ending. When something works, it does not need to be pushed further.
