Enjoyable as a fun short watch
First Night with the Duke is a light, entertaining drama that doesn’t take itself too seriously — which is both its charm and its limitation. With only twelve episodes, it’s an easy watch that moves at a brisk pace and provides a good dose of escapist fun.The storyline is relatively silly, filled with playful moments and over-the-top situations, but that’s part of what makes it enjoyable if you’re in the mood for something uncomplicated. OK Taecyeon is, as always, very easy on the eyes, but his acting — like Seohyun — isn’t exactly award-worthy. It’s all serviceable, but don’t expect depth or nuance.
This is not a drama that leaves a lasting impact or begs for a rewatch. It's not groundbreaking in any way, and definitely not worthy of a perfect score — let’s save those high marks for truly exceptional series. That said, First Night with the Duke is a perfectly pleasant diversion and a fun little ride while it lasts.
Recommended if you’re looking for something light, funny, and undemanding — but probably a one-time watch.

Nice Couple in Interior design scene
I really liked this. I thought the chemistry between the MLs was great and the decisions were totally understandable. I usually fast forward a lot with C dramas because they are often too long-winded and too detail-oriented. I really watched this one. A solid 8.5 points from me.############################################# 500 characters length 😄 ############## Puh ######################################################## Review, not novel!#####################################################Was this review helpful to you?
Exciting Film, unfortunately with a lot of stereotypes
The film is exciting and thrilling. Song Joong-ki's acting is really excellent, he's also good in normal K-dramas, but he's even better here. The entire film gets 10 points from me, even if I now criticize it. The film largely takes place in Brussels and I have to say that not a single European is portrayed as nice or sympathetic in the entire film!!! This is very unfair. Europe is groaning under the refugee burden of the last few years. In Brussels there are now two queues in front of the asylum office: families, women and men traveling alone. There are simply no more shelters to house people, so a lot of single men actually end up on the streets. That's terrible, of course, but at the same time it shows that the current system is breaking down because of the sheer weight of it. As already indicated in the film, many people flee for economic reasons and it is very difficult to do justice to people without a passport in individual cases. Here, too, the Belgians are portrayed as almost inhuman, it's so nasty towards the hard-working people in the authorities. Of course there are no "normal" Belgians in the film. Only the blonde woman f****g preferably in a pack is shown, the violent drug lord and criminal ...The most brutal xenophobia is constantly shown. This paints a one-dimensional picture of a complex situation in which there is more humanity and help than shown here. Was this review helpful to you?
Not sure, if I should like it
I actually like both actors (Memories of the Alhambra and hapiness are great series), but this drama is just a bit over the top, silly, illogical and boring at the same time. What I like the most is the second lead couple in this series. I'll watch it little by little, so I'll finish it. It's a shame actually, I was looking forward to both of them.**********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************Was this review helpful to you?
Pleasant way to pass the time
I mainly started watching My Page in the Nineties because of Chen Xingxu and Wang Yuwen.Chen Xingxu is currently my favorite actor (that changes from time to time, but right now it’s definitely him).
The basic “being pulled into a book” storyline feels quite overused and sometimes doesn’t make much logical sense.
At the beginning, I was a bit bored. However, after a few episodes, you start to feel immersed in the story. The chemistry between the two leads really carries the drama, and their love story is sweet and enjoyable to watch.
The second couple felt rather pale to me, but luckily they weren’t overused. Overall, it’s not a masterpiece in terms of logic, but it’s nicely made and a pleasant way to pass the time.

Feelgood drama if you like the Main Cast
This is a bit as "The best thing", a modern love story about growing together as a pair and building a live. The story is circling around the love story itself, without big major drama and twists and so it's a really nice, calm watch if you like the main actors.
As i like both actors, especially Song Weilong, i enjoyed it a lot and liked it, but as the drama has not an outstanding story or stunning visual affects its for me a solid 8,5.
Nevertheless it was one of those dramas is watched in one peace without on holds.

A tender love story with emotional depth – but not without flaws
I really enjoyed Will Love You in Spring – especially the beginning. It starts strong, with a touching atmosphere, excellent acting by Li Xian and Zhou Yu Tong, and a promising emotional journey.
The first half is heartfelt and full of quiet, powerful moments. If you're someone who appreciates a slower-paced romance with real emotional healing, this is definitely for you.
However, the story shifts noticeably once the main couple officially gets together.
From that point on, the pacing slows, and the behavior of the female lead became frustrating.
She chooses her career – which is perfectly fine – but instead of treating her partner like an equal, she shuts down emotionally, avoids communication, and withdraws without explanation.
It felt immature and out of sync with the strong character we met at the start.
Despite this, the drama still delivers a meaningful ending and beautiful cinematography. It's a story about grief, growth, and second chances. Not a light-hearted watch – it deals with deep emotions and even grief-related themes (yes, there's a lot of talk about death and letting go).
I cried, I got annoyed, but I was never bored.
Recommended?
Yes – with caution. Don't expect fluff or comedy. This is for a quiet weekend, when you're in the mood for something deep and melancholic, with just enough hope to carry you through.

Sweet and short advertising drama
I like the ML a lot. After the impressively second Lead in "in blossom" I searched for another drama with him and found this. This is a sweet and short show about a girl, which found herself as player in a computer game. The first encounter in this play was the villain and the rest is cliché. This show is indeed not logical but there are a lot of kissing scenes. I don't like the FL (why I think she looks like a duck), but that should not influence my rating.
Overall it's a nice 7, naturally not one of the best but not bad either.
But: give this actor a nice ML in a great show please 🥰

Cute BL love story
Cute 🍭🍭🍭 I liked the story and especially the playful acting of Nam Shi An. The ending was a very good one, i am satisfied. Some people are disappointed because of the second pair, but it's not a bad ending, it's only that they needs more time.Cute 🍭🍭🍭 I liked the story and especially the playful acting of Nam Shi An. Wonderful romantic Drama
If it weren't for the constant screaming, the loud music and some inconsistencies, like the coma patient who gets up in bed after 20 years and kneels down - I would have given it 10 points.I liked the story idea and it was very entertaining and time runs while watching.
The main actors and even the supporting acts did a great job.
The only thing that was really annoying was the constant screaming from the main actress. I like her, but that was too much.
I also thought the main character was great and cute, but I had a crush on assistant Ahn 🥰
Watch it, if you like romantic fiction.

A thriller - and everyone knows everyone
Everyone knows everyone by 6.6 degrees of separation. Here everyone knows everyone by a maximum of 2 degrees of separation and everyone has an extremely tough fate 🤭🤭🤭I don't want to say that the show is bad and Cha Eun Woo - I don't really like him as an actor - has made some really good progress in terms of acting, BUT - the story is really far-fetched. What I like is that someone is either good or bad, but - like in real life - has weaknesses and grey areas. So far so good, but what I find really ridiculous as the show progresses is that everyone knows everyone and everyone is intertwined. There can't be so many intertwined fates.

Berlin City Girl
Awwww, The ending still has an impact. I laughed, cried, enjoyed the great shots of Berlin and Frankfurt. It was exciting, touching and I was really well entertained for 16 episodes without a single hitch. Kim Soo-Hyun has been one of my absolute favorite actors since his Alien days. Not only does he have incredibly beautiful eyes, no, he is also a gifted actor. The main story was great, but so were the supporting actors - especially Park Sung-hoon as the villain torn apart by his obsession and the slightly naive and wonderful Kwak Dong-yeon as Hae-In's younger brother. I'm just not sure about Kim Ji-won. The way she played Hae-In almost had traits of personality destruction and I wondered what Baek Hyun-woo saw in her, apart from the fact that she is incredibly beautiful and rich, of course. It remains on her role in Lovestuck in the city, with her somehow cold and stiff manner. But, nevermind, this drama is one of the very, very best 👍💯🥰Was this review helpful to you?
Standout Dramedy
"How Dare You?!” is, for me, an absolute standout among Chinese dramas. A series you don’t come across every day — and one you certainly won’t forget anytime soon. The blend of humor, emotion, historical atmosphere, and genuine depth is simply unmatched. And as a little insider note: it almost could have been titled “How Are You?” — and that subtle nuance already hints at what makes it so special. This is not just another generic “I got pulled into a story” trope. It’s a cleverly constructed dramedy that plays with expectations and then gracefully turns them on their head.
Not a single second feels slow or unnecessary. Something new, surprising, or emotionally powerful is always unfolding. The characters grow in believable ways, and the development of feelings is portrayed with a rare tenderness and authenticity.
And then there is the visual beauty: the costumes, the colors, the cinematography — every scene feels like a painting. You can sense the love and care poured into every detail. The actors don’t simply perform; they embody their roles. It doesn’t feel like work — it feels like passion brought to life.
For me, this drama is a true highlight and absolutely worth rewatching. It’s rare for a series to captivate me this completely. A genuine masterpiece.

Exciting Story with very good main actors
This is one of the greatest shows I have ever seen. The story is really exciting itself, but the actors are on another level. Park Ji Hoon and Hwang Hee captivate me in a way I haven't experienced in a long time.I read the webtoon, so the story is not new for me, but even so it is so thrilling to see these figures alive.
I highly recommend this show. If you have the chance, read the webtoon: "Live is an empty illusion, ....., live is but an empty dream". Sigh !!!
