I've never in my life cried in the final episode not because of the ending but because I didn't want the whole story to end...

I'm on episode 12 and I just don't understand the "love" between La El and Yoon Gyeom. It feels so forced just to add the angst. There is literally no emotion there, no chemistry, nothing. On the other hand, I can feel the connection between her and Seo Eun Pyung but I already know it's going to be wasted. I loved how La El played everyone but seeing her submitting to this fake love is frustrating

Title Who Rules the World Spoiler
Who wins the war? Casualties? You can spoil
The ending is underwhelming. The good guys win and basically no one from main characters die (only Han Pu) but in the end Bai-Hei Fengxi decide to withdraw from their positions, give the emperor title to Huang Chao and they live together in a secluded cabin lol

I thought this show was about a high profile wife divorcing her rich douche-y husband trying to leave him for…
OMG the same! At first I thought Yea Ji would be the divorcing wife leaving her chaebol husband whose family treated her badly or that she married him in the first place to later get revenge with this divorce and I feel so deceived... and I did this to myself lol

I watch at least 3 episodes of Korean drama and 6 episodes of Chinese drama before I decide whether I want to continue or not. There are so many dramas that were pretty slow within first 2 episodes but got so much better in 3rd one that I created this rule for myself. But dropping within first 10 minutes seems a little bit too much to me xD

Ouch, I find dropping drama in the first episode quite brutal. I usually give Korean dramas three episodes and Chinese dramas five or six episodes to see if they get better.

I have so many mixed feelings about this drama! It started off great - I was immersed in the story and I LOVED every aspect of it. It was exactly what I was looking for: really fun, bubbly, sweet story about young couple falling in love but also it had so many aspiring moments when they were talking about chasing your dreams and never giving up. My OTP is just too cute to resist and I was squeling every time they appeared on the screen! The whole squad is literal GOALS. I loved the bromance and general friendship and sense of camaraderie between swimmers.
But the middle part... Let me tell you I was SO FRUSTRATED I almost dropped this drama. I couldn't stand meddling of two snakes, all these misunderstandings and misery gave me a high level of anxiety that I didn't sign up for. I couldn't stand Lin Zi's character he was so clingy that he gave me chills and generally the whole middle part of the story was overly complicated and infuriating to me. And then we got back on the right track near the end.
My Mr. Mermaid could have been one of my favorite cdramas. It's something that I would recommend if you're into cute OTPs or inspirational stories about overcoming obstacles and coming back to the top. However, you need to be prepared for worse middle part.

Tell me about it >< I'm so glad so many people could relate to this xDForest I started and now I'm like oh ffs…
Oh no, this disease is terrible! I used to have it but now I don't care that much. If something isn't worth your time then there's no point in pushing yourself. Forest is so weird, the relationship between main characters reminds me of older dramas and it's kind of a guilty pleasure because of that, but I'm also skipping through a lot when it comes to business stuff. When it comes to medical stuff, I don't want to spoil anything for you so I will try to be as vague as possible. Just I can't imagine leaving operating room covered in blood and then touching other things and people in waiting room - I'm like "hello, have you heard of HIV, HBV or HCV or anything like that?" And I watched Life but I was kind of bored because of all the politics :( However the medical part was definitely well done. And I am all in when it comes to Top Realistic Medical Dramas! <3

I am third year medical student so watching medical dramas is sign of my masochism since they frustrate me with their mistakes. I still can't get over Hospital Ship and more currently Forest is killing me with its errors. I just can't help cringing at all those mistakes. One of the best medical dramas I saw was Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim - and it's probably the only one where actors playing doctors would disinfect their hands every single time they would go to their patient and I still remember how impressed I was by this gesture. It may seem to be something small and unimportant but the amount of attention they put into details really bought me.

Honestly, I have mixed feelings about this drama. First few episodes were mediocre then it got amazing - I was so hooked and I loved how there were cases who taught many valuable lessons (my personal favorites were school bullying and also women rights episodes) - and then last six episodes went downhill. Cases weren't as interesting and I had problems with some of the new subplots that were introduced to the story. Overall I enjoyed more realistic aspect of the story but if I had binge-watched this drama, probably I would have dropped this. It's an okay drama to watch when you have nothing else to get into but I wouldn't recommend it as a must watch.
