HALF-ASSED REVIEW FOR A HALF-ASSED SERIES ;)
Finally forced myself to finish this series, and the only thing I’m gonna say is: what a hot mess.
IdeK what this series was even supposed to be, but it somehow turned into a huge disappointment and a complete waste of the entire budget (which was probably $10, if we’re being generous). I genuinely never thought any series could out-trash "Revamp", but here we are. This series really said, “Hold my beer.” 😭
It tried to be a comedy and horribly failed at it. Every single joke fell flat, the humour was questionable at best, but hey, hopefully someone found it funny because I DEFINITELY did not. 💀
Then it tried to be a romance series and half-assed that genre too. And don’t even get me started on the second leads because WHAT was the point? They contributed absolutely nothing to the overall story. I absolutely loved MondRyu in "That Summer", but this series did them absolutely no justice.
And honestly, this series didn’t do TayNew any justice either. Somehow, it managed to fail at everything it attempted.
In short: YES, IT SUCKED. BAD. :)
