I dropped LLTG twice..part 1 was soooo slow and draggy But I’m glad I stuck it out and went back to watch it..wow,…
I agree the plot in LLTG unfolds too slowly and alot of scenes could have been cut out and they could have easily cut it down to one part only. There was too much bickering among the young ladies. This is by far, the drama with the nastiest ladies who were so catty that I was appalled by it. The family drama was too much too. There wasn’t one true villain but several throughout the drama. Thst being said, it’s definitely slower than what I usually prefer to watch but production, acting, plot (minus the unimportant filler scenes) we’re still done nicely. The battle scenes were executed very well..something I wish we saw more of in LBFAD.
I don’t blame the reviewers but the writers for creating female characters like that. Also, liking or not liking…
What does this even mean?? 😅🤣🤣🤣
ANYWAY, I am talking about how the characters are written and not the acting. If you misunderstood my comment as an attack on your favorite actress then that’s fine. Yang Zi, in particular, is good at roles like this. She plays practically the same character with similar personality and traits like the character in Go Go Squid 🤷🏻♀️
An okayish drama. Nothing much to say. FL character is totally inconsistent. Sometimes she behaves like mature…
My thoughts too.
Wayyy overhyped and over rated. This is a 6 at best…and that’s being generous. Maybe if I was a 15 year old girl I’d be ranting and raving how excellent this drama is 🤷🏻♀️😑
I don't know if it's too late to say this because this drama aired a long time ago (I would make sure I repeat…
I don’t blame the reviewers but the writers for creating female characters like that. Also, liking or not liking a character is very subjective. Everyone has a difference preference. While some like clueless, naive female characters…I prefer stronger, self assured characters like the female leads in The Long Ballad, Who Rules the World, Eternal Love, Rebel Princess, Princess Agents, You Are My Glory, Legend of Fei, etc… Age group can affect preferences too. Younger viewers may prefer silly, self doubting, naive characters while older, more mature viewers prefer to watch smarter, more mature and self assured characters. There’s is nothing wrong with preference and everyone is entitled to what they like. Only immature viewers expect others to share their thoughts.
How does the story progress over the episodes? It took me almost 2 days just to finish the first episode because…
IMO, this drama is over hyped and over rated. If you enjoy clueless , inexperienced leads and lots of misunderstandings and push/pull relationships then this drama is for you. If you like dramas where the leads are mature, know what they want and are decisive then this is not it.
Thank you! I agree with your review..I’m shocked at how many people love this drama. I don’t get it at all. FL is so immature and annoying. I don’t even know what the ML sees in her..possibly because he’s clueless when it comes to love too. It’s a weak storyline and gave me a headache watching it. I already invested time so I went ahead and finished it. Way over hyped and overrated. Yang Zi plays the same type of character once again. Whether it’s modern or xanxia, it’s all the same.
Agree 100% Dropped this one. I’m an adult so this one is definitely not for me.
Also I’m shocked there will be a part 2. Other dramas are way more deserving of a second part. Couldn’t finish this one, definitely staying away from part 2.
Pre teen story. Very immature female lead. Story is mainly about: i love you but you hate me, i hate you too now…
The push pull relationship is too much for me and didn’t make sense. I agree that preteen and teens would enjoy this since they don’t really know what a true mature relationship should be like 🤷🏻♀️
Guys give me names of dramas like this, Im in limbo right now i have the time but all i do is fishing bts of this…
I dropped LLTG twice..part 1 was soooo slow and draggy But I’m glad I stuck it out and went back to watch it..wow, great plot twist and Leo’s acting is superb 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 He’s amazing..also great production. Definitely worth the watch. Beware though…I did not like the FL one but by the end of part 1!! That’s a first for me but you’ll eventually warm up to her.
I tried to move on and watched Maiden Holmes…Ling He is the lead. I still can’t believe I watched it til the…
I finished watching LLTG. The storyline moves slow and some parts are draggy but it’s very good! IMO, Part 1 was over rated. It’s a 6 at best…definitely not a 9. Part 2 is definitely better by far. However, this is a top quality production and Leo Wu’s acting is sooo good. Such a talented and believable actor. Despite a slow storyline at times, overall it’s very good and definitely worth watching.
I'm confused at ep 46 when the uncle told shaoshang about ah li, buyi wushang story. My brain🤔. So who's ah…
A’Li is Ling Buyi’s nickname. A’Zheng is Huo Wushang’s nickname. Buyi’s mom and Wushang’s dad are siblings so the boys are cousins who grew up together and were very close. The story told by the uncle revealed that Wushang is allergic to almonds…this is how NN figured out Ling Buyi’s true identity when he had an allergic reaction to the almond cake.

The Emperor, Empress and Consort are the healthiest I’ve seen by far in any drama.
