At least their story was relevant. I think Danyin, Jieli, and their dadās story added nothing to the overall drama. The existence of their character is fine but really? The fact that they are twins and their parents/family was separated because their mom was a moon tribe womanā¦that didnāt add anything to the story. That time could have been used give us a sweeter ending. Longer kiss scene, maybe even a wedding, Orchid as the moon queenā¦maybe some moon babies š¤š¤

I think they both had their fair and equal share of suffering. She saved him on numerous occasions and sacrificed herself so he wouldnāt be taken over by the evil spirit. He, in return, also saved her several times and sacrificed himself at the end so she wouldnāt have to. I think most of us wanted to see a better ending but overall, it was a good ending. A good ending that was not satisfying at all would be the Long Ballad. Itās assumed they ended up together but they werenāt even in the same frame. Also, a one sided sacrifice drama would be like Love and Redemption.
Itās too bad we didnāt get to witness the power of the glazed fire. If this is more powerful than hell of fire I canāt even imagine. Love conquers all š¤

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. One of my other fave actor is Xu Kai and im glad heās not type casted. I love him in the various roles that heās played.

In WRTW I think they switched directors midway through and you can tell too. It was a bit draggy with the political drama but I finished it because Iām a Yang Yang fan. I think the chemistry was thereā¦not strong chemistry like the leads in LBFAD though.

I hope I donāt get any hate for saying this but Iāve seen a few of the dramas Yang Zi is in and it feels like she plays the same characters over and over even if itās different genres. Go go Squid, ashes of love, oath of loveā¦same character.
