One of my other fave actor is Xu Kai and im glad he’s not type casted. I love him in the various roles that he’s played.

In WRTW I think they switched directors midway through and you can tell too. It was a bit draggy with the political drama but I finished it because I’m a Yang Yang fan. I think the chemistry was there…not strong chemistry like the leads in LBFAD though.

I hope I don’t get any hate for saying this but I’ve seen a few of the dramas Yang Zi is in and it feels like she plays the same characters over and over even if it’s different genres. Go go Squid, ashes of love, oath of love…same character.

IMO, I think the love story is the most important aspect and it’s what drives the plot. You take away the love story and there won’t be much to the story because much of what transpires is because if their love.

The fact that Danyin and Jeili are twins and born to Lord Yun Zhong and a moon tribe woman isn’t significant at all. That backstory is pointless when the time can be spent on a solid ending.
