Her connection to the moon tribe is through DFQC. Her real identity is Goddess Xishan who can bring things back to life, purify evil…she’s powerful but has not reached her full potential.
She has seen that tree on a few occasions. The first time was on episode 1 after she entered the Haotian tower. She touched the tree and a spark of green current spread throughout the tree and branches. It’s my theory that perhaps from that initial moment his love tree became alive again. Of course it had to be nurtured to grow and blossom.
