I intended to wait until all episodes were released but I caved and binged 14 episodes in 2 days. Overall, I really love this drama. It has the perfect balance of fantasy, action and romance. There were moments that made me laugh out loud so I appreciate the touch of humor this drama brings. The only thing I would have liked to see more is Uk in some serious training. Hardcore training to master each level but that’s okay. I still love the drama.
I can't decide, is this worth watching???Also how much romance does it contain?
If you like historical/fantasy, action, and romance then this is the drama to watch. There are hints of funny moments that will make you laugh too which is nice because it brings some light heartedness to the the story so it won’t be too heavy. So far, I’m really loving this drama. The romance and love triangles are just the right amount. The perfect balance.
Before I start this drama can someone please tell me if Yang Zi’s character is similar to the ones she played in Oath of Love, Ashes of Love, and Go Go Squid? I don’t think I can watch another one of her dramas with the same character traits.
At this point she’s trying to sort everything out. I think she broke up with her boyfriend because she felt…
No, I wouldn’t say he has very little screen time but I will admit it’s hard to tell if the ML will become the SML and vise versa. Usually it’s very clear who the ML is but as this drama unfolds, it has viewers second guessing if the father is the ML or the boyfriend/fiancé. I would say a big clue would be the order of list of cast above. The FL is first then the baby’s father, followed by the boyfriend 😅 So I guess most people think the ML is the boyfriend but perhaps it’s the father instead.
Is FL Started Having Feelings For ML??Or She Still Likes SML??
At this point she’s trying to sort everything out. I think she broke up with her boyfriend because she felt it was unfair to put him through all that because of her own decision to have the baby. I understand it is her body and ultimately her choice and even though she asked him if he was okay with it, I don’t think she really thought it through and how it would affect their relationship. Kang Jae should have been more honest with his feelings and expressed it to Woori. Now she feels betrayed after finding out his true feelings and she feels guilty. I think as she spends more time with Raphael she’ll start to develop feelings for him too. Afterall, not everyone is immune to a rich, handsome, caring man 🥰
Well... things escalated quite fast in ep6. Love the crazy mom and daughter beating the thug. lol. Poor Kang Jae,…
I was disappointed in Kang Jae too. He compromised his integrity for personal reasons when he tampered with evidence. However, I do feel really bad for him.
lol, I feel like I might be in the minority here, but that duel scene between Xiyun and HC looked so bad. Ugh,…
I’m in total agreement. Also the scene where Prince Ju staged a coup and Lanxi rushes to the palace, waved his hand and guards fell to the ground and when arrows were shot at him and he waved his hand and all the arrows just dropped to the ground too. I thought, is this a xanxia now? 😅
I think it's possible - Yu family curse were casted by Dadong Empire, right? And even then Emperor's family trusted…
I think the curse is common knowledge. HFX made a reference/threat about it when he thought YWY was interested in BFX in the earlier episodes. Also, HC and his sister also know so the curse isn’t a family secret. It’s impossible for the Yu family to hide the curse, how can they explain the death of everyone after the age of 30, people will wonder what happened and why the sudden disappearance.
The secret is the fact that the Yu family is the head of Locust and Cricket, not the curse.
They were not able to do anything about YWY in 5 years.. why? Loved the episode though. The wedding made me so…
Ikr? Fountain Abode has been investigating and no one knows YWY is the right hand man of the Emporer?? Like really? Shouldnt someone have a spy planted at the palace or something? No progress at all after 5 years
-First off, I have to give a huge shout out to Zhao LuSi's performance in the death of her brother and father…
Nice recap 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I can’t get over how BFX got over Langhua stabbing her through the heart too. As if it was such a minor thing. Hello??? You’d be dead if not for the sacred moon jade flower.
Same just did a catch up from ep27 to 36, I was disappointed that we didn't see more of a response from ML, especially…
I was so disappointed too. How can there not be a bigger reaction from the ML. The woman that he admired for so long and even named his restaurant after, turns out to be the same woman he’s in love with. They carried on like nothing happened after the big discovery that she’s the princess. Like whaaa????? Makes no sense and the reaction is too downplayed and illogical.
It shows on episode 34. When a messenger brings the news to BfX that her father is ill. He was at a distance only…
I expected a little more. There was no confrontation or even a discussion about it. It is what it is and they just carried on like nothing happened. I at least wanted to see his reaction to finding out that both the women he admired are one in the same. There was nothing and they just carried on
