I think Yul was more taken aback by the way Mudeok spoke to him. She doesn’t speak to the young masters the way real servants would. She keeps it real. Even when speaking to the crown prince! Unless she’s trying to coax him or fool him then she puts on a great act.

He pities her. She may be a dishonest swindler but she was used the way Naksu was so he feels sorry for her. I don’t think there are any romantic feelings towards her at all.

There are 4 or 5 subtle love triangles! Keep watching 😜

that’s a good theory..expanding on that, perhaps Bu Yeon’s special abilities come from the fact that she was saved and brought back to life by the ice stone when her mother was pregnant with her for 13 months.
Another theory is that her soul is not gone but lingering in the soul ejector space and one day she’ll be strong enough to leave that space.

How did Naksu switch bodies with Mu Deok and not the other girl when she clearly intended to switch with the other girl in the tavern.

Lol I’m terrible but I was so hooked I ended up watching all night then was too tired to go to work. might as well call in sick, get some sleep then binge again haha

I intended to wait until all episodes were released but I caved and binged 14 episodes in 2 days.
Overall, I really love this drama. It has the perfect balance of fantasy, action and romance. There were moments that made me laugh out loud so I appreciate the touch of humor this drama brings. The only thing I would have liked to see more is Uk in some serious training. Hardcore training to master each level but that’s okay. I still love the drama.

If you like historical/fantasy, action, and romance then this is the drama to watch. There are hints of funny moments that will make you laugh too which is nice because it brings some light heartedness to the the story so it won’t be too heavy.
So far, I’m really loving this drama. The romance and love triangles are just the right amount. The perfect balance.

Before I start this drama can someone please tell me if Yang Zi’s character is similar to the ones she played in Oath of Love, Ashes of Love, and Go Go Squid? I don’t think I can watch another one of her dramas with the same character traits.
