I hope the show won’t be turned by some GL fans into a same-sex romance, ruining the beautiful friendship between…

no they are not step siblings
heck some jurisdictions even allow blood relations to marry. Not siblings of course, I think that's generally taboo everywhere. Korea is particular harsh on consanguinity and it's illegal to like the 8th degree. Whereas in Canada, I have now learned, you could legally marry your uncle, for example. I don't think it happens a lot but it's also not against the law here. The research rabbit holes I find myself in, lol.

well, they obviously don't have to get married and they won't adopt each other's adult child either, lol, so not siblings AT ALL

What if they get together before their parents? But yes it does looks like both are leaning towards romance. The kids are strangers so hardly siblings.

Rewatched this after so many years. I still love this drama and is one of my top dramas. But after maturing, I'm finding some red flags in the story 😅 The age gap now seems weird. Like why didn't they just make her a college student? Why did she have to be in high school? But the bromance is still great and I just loved rewatching the second couple, they are just so cute together!

A little too much recreational sexual assault and harassment for this to have aged well.
when I watch old dramas I literally have a list of things that I just have to ignore because they were “normalized” back then. Tae seok was portrayed as such a good guy and I know he was drunk when he forced himself on her and only tried to kiss her but still………..if a guy did that to me I’d never give him a chance I’d never even go around him anymore

I really like how they got the high school back story out of the way in one episode so we can get to the fun stuff
