She is a doctor, but behaves like a 12-years old rebel, she shouts, does stupid faces and because of her some of patients could die. Not my kind of character.
Doctors working during a disastrous scenario is an interesting take on the medical genre and it worked, at least for the 1st half. Resources were limited, the tension was intense and the stakes were high. It created a good mix for a thriller. However, things began to turn back into a regular medical drama in the 2nd half, it even brought with it the typical issues and conflicts with a hospital management. It slowly began to lose its attraction at that point. The brief romance was strange, it didn't work because it happened over a very short period of time. You may justify it as a little trauma bonding experience. The cast were mostly fine, however, the characters often went for over-dramatization over professionalism which took away from some of the serious moments. The drama could've worked better if it were a mini series of something like 8 episodes with good direction.
A show about a hospital that has never heard of a disaster recovery plan and never once run a drill. The characters vacillate between panic-stricken hysterics and plain befuddlement. I get it, they're not a general hospital but still not a single staff member seems to have any semblance of grace under pressure.
Add in the last bunch of first responders you'd ever want lighting up the sirens and this show almost reaches the so bad its good category. Unfortunately, it falls short and is just not very good.
one thing i love is the lack of urgency with the characters T-T like people are dying and theyre just staring or having a whole monologue before doing urgent surgery. I think this is one of those dramas were its so bad its good lmaoo
I just finished this drama and honestly if it wasn't for Kim Young Kwang I'd dropped it after a few episodes. I really don't understand the high rating. This series is full with stupidity and illogical scenes. A mother who has lost her child in the earthquake and doesn't know anything about him (if he is alive and where he is) goes to work and talks to people does her job like nothing happened. A high rated private hospital hires a doctor who does nothing but whining and is not capable of operating or make a decent diagnosis but wants to kick out a doctor who would do anything to save people's life. A grown woman (being a doctor) is kicking or hitting people to wake them up or poking them on the forehead, acting like a little girl in elementary school. They using candle's to save electricity but one of the doctor sleeps in a fully lit up room. The director breaks his glass table, but in the next scene the table is nice and flawless again. I could go on and on... I know no one forced me to watch it so I only can blame myself but it was a total waste of time. The only "thing" that kept me watching was Kim Young Kwang. So unless you're a fan of him like I am don't let yourself to be fooled by the high rating this drama got.
Already in episode 15 but I haven't even seen Lee Sung Kyung's character to do a surgery or even assist. All she…
Would've been better had Kim Rae Won not been in it. They lacked chemistry and I only finished this because of a little chance that Lee Sung Kyung and Park Shin Hye's characters would end up together by some miracle. LSK and PSH having more chemistry than the supposed "main lead" is saying something.

Still in the early parts of the drama.... Why doesn't the 2ML leave the FL alone. The way he interacts with her…
FL's mom finally finds out. Yesssss..... The pure and raw emotion in the scene... Brilliant... Also the joy she gets when she realises that her daughter picked up pottery and that grandma actually adores her. This was exactly what was missing until now. True emotion and feelings beings expressed and not this manipulated pushy wishy-washy game all the other characters are playing
