Title The Uncanny Counter Spoiler
1)is there love triangle? if there how much deep it is ?2)when do leads will be together3)is there any breakup?…
There is no romance (besides the undercurrents and gradual growing closer) between the leads. This is more of a family/bonding drama with cute little tidbits scattered here and there. And it's a happy ending.

Absolute pure fluff, no misunderstandings, and good if you need you a nice palate cleanser between angsty shows or just want something sweet and light. Very cute drama

What...did I just read...? Not in any world can a rapist find forgiveness if his victim succumbs to emotional abuse, please say this isn't actually getting released.

Dude said "It's a big package" and I said damn we're really going there okay
I'm wheezing đŸ€Ł after that scene I think he could have said "It's raining hedgehogs in my truck" and we would have nodded like "yup makes sense"

If they follow this pattern (steam, rest, steam, rest) we will all be dead by episode 10
All the watchers will just be a pile of smoking ash if they up the ante again 😂

My favourite aspect of this show is the tongue in cheek way of saying, "We're going to tease romance even though…
I also thought it was great how they had those perfect sweep you off your feet kdrama moments but with the genders switched lol, it was a nice and funny addition

She's devoted her life to her son and everything she's done has been for him. I don't see what's wrong with that.…
I agree that Wang was at fault for the fight they had, but I think it's the scene where she's talking to In that got to me the most. She repeats everything she wanted and how he gave it to her, so he should take responsibility. It just rang of manipulation to me.

She's definitely not all to blame nor a 2D villainess but I just can't discount her behavior as pure motherly habits. Good intensions don't always equal good outcomes.

I think our perspectives are just different on how we see things so we can agree to disagree! Either way, I'm enjoying the drama and hope it doesn't break my heart 💙

I think it's because not all mothers are like that, that she bothers me. This past episode conjured some sympathy but not much. Her world is created by her, her problems her own, and in the end she drives people away yet it leaves her lonely. I'm not sure she'd ever realize that she has a problem with abandonment nor feelings of insecurity.

She has no real relationships, not even with her son, because she doesn't know how to but she also doesn't want to learn.

Episode 6 thoughts1) I'm on the side that they did not "make love" that night, nor would they have even if mom…
I'm not sure I agree with your analysis of In. The only man he'd ever loved died and In feels that their affections for each other, or really the direct denial, was the cause of that. His ability to jump into a new relationship would probably only be the cause of more sadness thinking of what he could have had or how he'd pushed away someone who was brave enough to admit his love. I don't think it's pathetic at all but rather incredibly sad that he fears loving someone again. His isolation is a punishment and his house a prison of his own making.

They arrived accidentally and never left. What in the hell!?! I'm so ready for poor In to just have his well designed…
I think In's self inflicted solace was more of him constantly blaming himself for what happened and a fear of being hurt again. That's why he never intended to go across the bridge to visit the villagers. He's afraid of being attached but that doesn't necessarily mean he's happy.

That being said, the mother can definitely f off lol.

I’m not sure I agree with you but I think that’s just different perspectives. To me it seems like, though she loves her son, she doesn’t realize what he actually needs. When they’re great they’re great, but he mentions that they fight almost if not every day. He also mentions to In in regards to the “special surprise” that it’s not that special and doesn’t act surprised when the events unfold during what’s supposed to be his moment, insinuating that it probably wasn’t the first time she’d done that.

She’s also used to pushing off the blame and guilt as shown by the scene with In where she repeats all the things she said to get what she wanted, but he’s the one who accommodated her every time so the consequences are his fault and so is her pain. To me is seems like she has a comfy life and the things in it are just an accessory—including her son. She’s affection starved and she wants only the good things, but gets upset when that’s challenged.

Perhaps it’s because her character hit too close too home, but I can’t brush off her narcissistic tendencies as something other than uncomfy and unhealthy. They appear to cause real harm around her while she remains mostly untouched.

This is of course merely my opinion as I tend to over analyze characters 😂
The intensity of their discussions and chemistry coupled with the sweet, calm glimpses we get of the in between moments is such a beautiful mix. I find myself completely drawn in by their acting and interactions (even when it's just them talking in a room with nothing else going on). There's just something so entrancing about discovering them together with each other and watching both grow closer.
