The mother is so unsettling to watch, I have to skip past her half the time. She really gives off "my life is 'hard' but it's everyone else's fault and not mine" which is incredibly discomforting seeing the story unfold. Her dialogue with In about how he gave her everything she wanted growing up especially made me want shake her

She gets there, she's just a confused flower but her character development makes up for it

If I remember correctly, he didn't know his brother had forged the sword whole again and he also ordered his brother to destroy it so he probably didn't realize that was a threat to her any longer

Two episodes is too early to understand what's really going on (especially with xianxia dramas) but if you're already not interested then it might not be your cup of tea.

I do wish we had gotten to see this part after everything they put us through lol, but loved it nonetheless

Give her time. She's not perfect by any means but she just needs a healthy dose of tlc

Due to the political climate and the societal/familial pressures of the time, both would have parted and become permanently distant. There really wouldn't have been any out for them. Plus, with both going against their values...for some people that is worse than death. It's incredibly sad and heartbreaking, but still goes to show that sometimes the heart is more important than the body TT

Maybe it's just me but the inevitability of her breaking up with the boyfriends is making me not want to finish it. Which is such a shame because I'm actually enjoying it for the most part

I also think the point of asking the defendant to leave because it could put pressure on the daughter testifying is interesting. In the end it was the mother who made sure she couldn't speak the truth to the court and others who took her power to explain away from her. Just goes to show the public perception isn't everything which is truly heartbreaking for some.

It made me so frustrated, but also went to show that the mother subjected her daughter to the same controlling nature she was accusing someone else of doing. So sad, I wanted to give them both hugs.

He doesn't see her struggle. He only feels his and his prejudice is too big to look past. He's a terrible person but also a sad reality of what many autistic people face with this kind of thing and accomplishments.

I'm hoping he at least caught her so she didn't and that's why she looked so happy 😂

I love that we can see her still standing up for Young Woo in the next ep! Every time I think she's going to turn or be mean, despite how easy it would be, she always has Young Woo in mind. It makes me love her so so much

I guess because no touching/kisses? Either way, definitely romance lol
