I'm afraid most of the people in the comments took the plot too seriously. I believe the show was just falling along with a trend of silly shows from back when it was popular. The show caters more to an audience who wants to see more visually appealing content. Eye candy, per se. I will say this show has some spicy scenes that will probably make you want to keep watching if you're into that.

The ranking is very accurate. Just wish it wasn't limited to just this number of actors.

Some scenes hit hard because my mother was a single mother raising me in a household with a “perfect” family. What was really hard for me growing up was the constant comments about me needing to grow up faster because I’m a women who needs to become the perfect housewife like my mother.

That’s why I believe with these older dramas their specificity for a specific demographic of people.

Can't believe we got two School 2021 cast reunions this year! Some may argue that it's the wrong two reunions, but I'm stoked to see both of them in this drama.

I agree that this show was good for what it was. I don't agree with most of the hate for the male lead because he was simply a human being who was trying to do everything in his power to prevent the same incident in his past relationship. It took him quite a bit to understand why he was wrong, but in the end, he understood and successfully salvaged his relationship. I also think the hate for the female lead was unprovoked and unnecessary. She was simply just, shall I say, too realistic for the viewers. What I mean by realistic is that she, like us, saw a handsome man and fantasized about being in a relationship with him. Additionally, she had feelings for more than one guy, so that makes her a "bad lead" who should only have eyes for the male lead, since he's the one for her. I wish people who pick apart a drama for not being complex would move on to another drama, and stop FLODDING the review section and making it hard to see comments that are actually helpful, like yours! I'm also curious to see what your final review would be.
