“I applied to be a taxi driver because I wished for people to seek me out since I grew up alone in a facility […]”

WTF is this answer?!! 😂

I think that Jang Daepyonim suspected that Ha Joon was not honest, but still gave him the benefit of the doubt. That’s the weirdest answer I have ever heard—and the guy still got the job?! Lol. I wonder why Ha Joon said that, specifically knowing that he could have given Mr. Jang a more convincing answer.

Show is really good, I don't know why people saying this OVERRATED
“Overrated” is such a funny word given the context it is now used in: “I don’t like it (opinion) —> overrated!”

If a show is rated highly by viewers, it simply means that people enjoyed it—there is nothing deep about it; it is not like they dissected every bit of it and put in under the microscope to look at the movement of sequences, or that they ran some objective tests to measure the angle and speed of projection 🤣 ! Everyone rates shows and pretty much everything in their lives according to their respective perspectives. When someone says that something is “overrated”, they are questioning other people’s judgment which is hilarious since there is NO FIXED CRITERIA these people use to “rate” a show! Everyone values different parts of the story/cinematography differently; some relate to parts of the story too especially if it is based on a real one.

People throw “overrated” and “underrated” left and right nowadays, instead on elaborating on why they don’t like something, which, instead of these empty interjections, is legitimate and valid!

Taxi Driver is a good series! Not perfect, of course, but definitely exciting and enjoyable!

Sorry, I had to get this off my chest 😂

Any romance? Even just a little?
I see things in a different light. I think that the directors are hinting at romantic feelings between the two— I mean that Do Gi and Go Eun both secretly harbour feelings for each other. There are a few “questionable”glances if you will, and occasional flirting. I wouldn’t call the bond between them as one between siblings at all; the two of them even pretended to be a couple at some point, and Do Gi even said that it was a pity that the two divorced at the end. It is hard for me to imagine saying something like this to a sibling, even as a joke(?)… The Korean side of media ships them a lot, and if you read Korean, you’ll realize that many of them see the bond between the two as a “romantic” one! I also watched an interview in Korean not long ago where Eui Sung questioned Go Eun’s feelings and was like “do you have a one-sided crush on Do Gi?” and the interview team presented a scene from Season 1 where Do Gi hugs Go Eun when she was crying and gently whispers that everything is okay, and they were like “how is this an unrequited love!”. Je Hoon was just smiling! I didn’t get this vibe from the two in Season 1, but I get it now!! There is indeed a change in the way the two interact. The closest pair to them would be No Eul and Choi Ji Tae from Uncontrollably fond in the first episodes, where the two interacted as good friends only, and No Eul even called Ji Tae “ajusshi”, just like Go Eun did with DG, but they both had romantic feelings for each other.

Overall, it is normal that different people give you different ideas. Just because I say something and someone else says otherwise doesn’t mean that one of us is right and the other is wrong. At the end of the day, we all see things according to our experiences and perspective. If you want romance as in kisses and skinship, then “no” there isn’t any.

Again? Lmao. Why is Do Gi on the verge of death every week lately? 😭💀Did he catch some negative energy when he pretended to be a shaman or something?

Even the team members (led by Je Hoon 😂) said during an interview that they wanted a Season 3! I think that…
Totally agree with you! I especially loved that countryside character with his tractor and the way he cleared his nose lmao!

OMG, a law firm à la Vincenzo! Hahaha, yeah, who knows? 😜
But at this rate, Taxi Driver is going to face the whole government next season!
On a side note, I would love to see Do Gi go back to the military and see the corruption there too! I bet this would be linked to the government! Imagine cases like the kids that were kidnapped by the military/government officials (like Squid Game), corruption in the military, and the creation of new viruses? EPIC SCENARIO!!! Now I want to talk the to writer-nim! 🤣

Even the team members (led by Je Hoon 😂) said during an interview that they wanted a Season 3! I think that it is going to be the case, especially that this season is doing amazing so far! Koreans love it—and, honestly, who doesn’t want another season of bad guys getting what they deserve? (or at least a dose of their own medicine).

Season 1 — when prosecutors and the judicial system “fail” to uphold Justice.

Season 2 — when the police becomes corrupt, and hurts the same people it is supposed to protect.

to my theory, yes. The preview says it all. I believe Doki notices that newbie's behavior when he asked that strange…
The way I thought of it is that they were aware that he was alive at the funeral. I am not sure if their reaction when they saw the car explosion was genuine or not (I think it was since they might not have been aware of Do Gi’s survival at that time, but maybe they were! 😂). For the enemies checking if Do Gi’s body was retrieved, I think that they didn’t need to since it was his car, and that they could safely assume that Do Gi was a he one driving his own car.

I hope that tonight episode gives us a satisfying answer to this mess!

???

Not sure what you’re talking about. I am not suggesting anything, I am clearly expressing my opinion which bears no more than a single interpretation: friendship can bloom into romance!

Also, last time I checked, KIM Do Gi and AHN Go Eun are not siblings, so I don’t see any objection here! 😂

Hi everyone! Is it better than season 1? Should I watch it?
Hi there! In my opinion, if you got attached to the members and to their fight for Justice, and are willing to see them face news challenges, then I would say that you would enjoy this season too! The theme is the same in the sense that we are still “punishing” the bad guys, but it diverts a little bit from the darkness and the morality-law conflict to tackle societal issues in a more viewer-friendly and humoristic way. The focus is less on action, and more on the diversity of the cases—which, by the way, were not randomly chosen 👀.

Give it a try; I think that no one can give you a better opinion but yourself! ☺️

I laughed at that part too! 😂
Kyung Gu asked them to call “Cha Eun Woo” because he always says that he is the most/2nd most handsome member of the team! Lmao.
Cha Eun Woo was also the pen name of Eui Bin in Mr. Queen—the name under which she used to write er*tic novels! And one of those in the palace (I think it was the court lady) said that the author is probably handsome/beautiful just from the name! 😂

Poor Cha Eun Woo! XD

ooooh I see what you're saying about him riding another car
It would make sense, but I don’t know if it was really the case! I wonder if the team members were pretending to be shocked, or if he also fooled them! 😅

Title Taxi Driver Season 2 Spoiler
I think that he faked his death (as I previously mentioned). Do Gi knew even before that conversation with Ha Joon that the latter could not be trusted. He is very sharp, and I bet that he sensed/confirmed that Ha Joon was up to something when he visited the hospital and said he was visiting someone when the patients in that hospital were mostly seniors who didn’t have any family member. Do Gi’s car was parked in the hospital parking, so it would have been easy for Ha Joon to notice it and to think about the plot he came up with. In my opinion, Do Gi realized that something was up with the car, and did decide not to ride it. I believe that the car we saw bursting into flames was on autopilot mode, and that Do Gi wasn’t there to begin with! Since he was shown driving while talking to the other members, I think that he was indeed driving but maybe another car. I thought that it would make more sense for him not to be in that car from the start than to be there and eject himself or something, especially that the team followed him and didn’t see him. Everything happened in a matter of seconds, so it would have been easy to spot him had he been in the car (either by the team or by the viewers). I think that Do Gi was riding another car that had that anti-reflective paint, which makes it difficult for radars to detect—or for CCTV to capture (I don’t remember the exact details of that paint). Do Gi is playing the game! 😈
